The Commissioner of Police, Delhi has announced a reward of Rs. 50,000/- which will hold good for a period of one year with immediate effect for any one who may give any information/clue(s) about the accused Chander Mohan Pandit s/o Shri Krishan Kumar r/o village Saharor Pehwa, Distt. Kurkshetra, Haryana wanted in several criminal cases of Delhi, Rajasthan, Haryana and other states. The accused is 32 years of age and 170 Cms in height.

As and when any information about accused involved in the cases(s)is received the same may be sent to Inspr./Computer Centre (Web Site), Kamla Market, through DCP/C&R as well as in C&T Branch, PHQ.

The Commissioner of Police, Delhi reserves the right to decide finally by whom the reward has been earned and in what proportion it will be distributed amongst various claimants, in case more than one claimant of reward for the same.

The earlier order regarding declaration of reward in the aforesaid case is hereby cancelled.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has arrested a desperate robber. He and his associates preferred to ride on motorcycles for committing robbery. They often targeted women on lonely stretches and robbed them at gun point. The arrested person is:

·  Vishal @ Vicky (22) r/o Shahdara, Delhi – He is a youngster with a long criminal record. He already has a dozen criminal cases registered against him at various police stations of Delhi, including Shahdara, Welcome, IP Estate, Patel Nagar, Paharganj, Daryaganj, Jyoti Nagar and Seemapuri. His crimes include abduction and sexual assault, chain snatching and possession of illegal firearms. He has been in and out of jail numerous times and for the past about 4 months he is out on bail. When he was caught he was found travelling on a robbed Splendour motorcycle and a case, vide FIR No. 134/10 u/s 392/34 IPC PS. Kashmere Gate was found registered for the same. One good quality .315 Bore country made pistol with two live rounds were recovered from his possession. He disclosed that even the mobile phone he was carrying had been robbed by him from the area of Kashmere Gate recently. He further disclosed involvement in 8 fresh cases of robbery and snatching.

On 9.4.10 he and his gang members had robbed a lady of all her jewellery and cash at gun point in Sarai Rohilla area. One accused, Himanshu was apprehended at the spot. He and others had managed to escape. A case, vide FIR No. 115/10 u/s 392/394/397/398/411/34 IPC r/w 25/27 Arms Act PS. Sarai Rohilla was registered for the same.

6 other cases of snatching registered in the police stations of Sarai Rohilla, Maurya Enclave and South Rohini were also solved with his arrest.

Ct. Sunil Kumar of Special Investigation Team, Crime Branch Sec-18, Rohini, Delhi received information about Vishal @ Vicky. A team led by Insp. Satyaprakash including ASI. Ramesh, HC Baljit Singh, HC. Jitender, Ct. Pradip, Ct. Jagbir, Ct. Amit and Ct. Sunil was formed under the close supervision of Addl. DCP Dr. Joy Tirkey to develop the information.

After sustained efforts at about 08:15 pm on 5.07.10 the Crime Branch Team finally succeeded in apprehending Vishal near Bhalaswa Jheel, Delhi. He was found travelling on a motorcycle robbed by him from Kashmere Gate, Delhi. A .315 Bore pistol and 2 live rounds were recovered from him. One mobile phone robbed from KAshmere Gate was also seized.

8 cases were solved with his arrest. Two out of these are robberies while the rest are chain snatchings. His associate Mohd Mushtaq is on the run.

Further investigation in the case is on.

GANG OF ROBBERS BUSTED : THREE ACCUSED ARRESTED

With the arrest of Deepak (21 years) s/o Mahavir Singh r/o H. No. 330, Village Kanjhawla, Delhi, Jasvir @ Jassa (24 years) s/o Suresh Chand r/o H. No. 298, Village Kanjhawla, Delhi and Gaurav Kumar Sethi (19 years) s/o Suresh Kumar r/o Chattania Ka Makan, near Fatak, Khera Kalan, Delhi, the staff of PS S.P. Badli busted a gang of robbers and worked out a case FIR No. 212/10 dated 26.06.10 u/s 392/394/411/34 IPC PS Alipur.

BRIEF FACTS / INCIDENT :

On 03.07.10, HC Sanjay Kumar, 235/OD, Beat Officer / Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar received a secret information that in the evening, a gang of robbers would assemble at Bypass, Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, GTK Road to dispose off robbed articles. Immediately, HC Sanjay Kumar shared the information with his other beat staff and laid trap at Bypass, Sangay Gandhi Transport Nagar, GTK Road and nabbed Deepak (21 years), Jasvir @ Jassa (24 years) and Gaurav Kumar Sethi (19 years). On search, a mobile phone (make Nokia 5030) wanted in case FIR No. 212/10 dated 26.06.10 u/s 392/394/411/34 IPC PS Alipur was recovered from the possession of Deepak which was robbed from one Balwant on 26.06.2010 in the area of Alipur. Accordingly, all the accused persons were arrested u/s 41.2 Cr.P.C. and investigation taken up.

INTERROGATION :

During the course of sustained interrogation, accused persons confessed to have committed robbery in the area of PS Alipur on 26.06.10 in which accused Naresh, gang leader was apprehended red handed who is presently running in judicial custody and they all had escaped from the spot.

He works as conductor on RTV which his brother Amit had hired on contract basis. He is habitual drunkard and having a girl friend. He was unable to fulfill his day to day requirements of luxurious life with his present job. He came in contact of Naresh, leader of gang and started to commit crime in the area of Outer District.

Jasvir @ Jassa (24 years) s/o Suresh Chand r/o H. No. 298, Village Kanjhawla, Delhi is a school drop out. He is still unmarried and has mother, father and two brothers in his family. He works as driver on RTV in Delhi. He is also habitual drunkard and was unable to meet his day-to-day requirements. He also joined Naresh, gang leader and started to commit crime.

Gaurav Kumar Sethi (19 years) s/o Suresh Kumar r/o Chattania Ka Makan, near Fatak, Khera Kalan, Delhi is a school drop out. He is still unmarried and has mother and three brothers in his family. He is habitual drunkard and had no source of income to meet his day-to-day requirements. He also joined the gang of Naresh and started to commit robberies.

GANG OF BUDDING ROBBERS BUSTED: 1 ACCUSED AND TWO CHILDREN IN CONFLICT WITH LAW APPREHENDED

Staff of PS Begumpur, Outer District with the arrest / apprehension of Bijender Singh (19 years) s/o Jai Singh r/o A-I/359, Sultan Puri, Manoj (age 16 years, name changed as child in conflict with law) and Pankaj (age 17 years, name changed as child in conflict with law), busted a gang of budding robbers.

BRIEF FACTS / INCIDENT:

On 25.06.10, a PCR call was received in PS Begumpur regarding robbery at Central Park, Sector-20, Rohini which was assigned to HC Raj Singh who reached the spot immediately and found two persons namely Pramod Sharma s/o Sh. Ravi Shankar r/o B-363, Hari Enclave, Aman Vihar, Delhi and Aashish Sharma r/o Kayam Ganj, Farukabad, UP. Aashish had sustained stab injuries on his stomach and he was immediately removed to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital by PCR van. Statement of complainant Sh. Pramod Sharma was recorded in which he stated that he along with his cousin Aashish was walking in the park and meanwhile two boys came and robbed off their three mobile phones, purses containing Rs. 11,000/-, one ATM Card, Election Card, Visiting Cards and Identity Cards on the point of knife. When Aashish opposed, one of the boys stabbed him and run away from the spot. Accordingly, on the statement of complainant, a case vide FIR No. 161/10 dated 25.06.10 u/s 394/34 IPC PS Begumpur was registered and investigation taken up.

TEAM / INVESTIGATION:

In order to work out the case, a team consisting of Inspector C.L. Meena, SHO/Begumpur, Inspector (Investigation) Sunil Kumar Sharma, SI Madan Lal (PS Begumpur), SI Mahabir Singh (PS Vijay Vihar) and HC Mahabir Singh (PS Vijay Vihar) under the supervision of Sh. Dhanveer Dutt, ACP/Sultan Puri and Sh. Om Prakash, ACP/Rohini was constituted. During the course of investigation, local sources were deployed and information was developed which bore fruitful results. A secret information was received that one of the mobile phones robbed from the complainant was being used by one Bijender r/o A-I/139, Sultan Puri. The team swung into action and nabbed Bijender from his house and recovered robbed mobile from his possession.

INTERROGATION:

During the course of interrogation, accused Bijender disclosed the name of boys who committed the robbery at Central Park on 25.06.10. At his instance, Manoj (age 16 years, name changed as child in conflict with law) and Pankaj (age 17 years, name changed as child in conflict with law) were apprehended from their houses and two purses containing ATM card, Election Card, Visiting Cards and Identity Card were recovered at their instance. Both the juveniles produced before the J.J. Board. Efforts are being made to affect the recovery of remaining two mobiles.

GRUESOME BLIND MURDER CASE OF ROHINI SOUTH SOLVED

With the arrest of Pawan @ Raju Pahadi s/o Late Base Bahadur and apprehension of Monu (name changed being a minor), joint team comprising of the staff of Special Staff and P. S. Rohini South, Outer District has solved a brutal blind murder case of a boy namely Deepak @ Chunnu s/o Ramji Lal r/o I-530, JJ Colony, Shakurpur Basti, Delhi aged 17 years, with multiple stab injuries over his body in the area of South Rohini.

BRIEF FACTS:

On 3.7.2010 at about 10.10 PM, a PCR Call was received at Police Station Rohini South regarding one young boy lying dead near Kali Mata Mandir with multiple stab injuries. This call was lodged in the Daily Dairy and was marked to SI Surender Kumar for necessary action. On reaching the spot, a young boy of about 20-22 yrs was found lying dead in a pool of blood. On inspection of the dead body, multiple stab injuries all over the body were found. About 24 stab wounds were found on the back portion of the body whereas 7 injuries were on the front part of the body. As there was no eyewitnesses found on the spot, case vide FIR No 214/10 u/s 302 IPC was registered on DD Entry and investigation taken up. The victim could not be identified by that time. The boy was so brutally murdered that it was found during the autopsy that all his vital organs, i.e., heart, liver, lungs and the kidneys were found punctured.
