2.A male aged about 50-52 years, height about 5’ 7”, sallow complexion, oval face, black hair and wearing saffron colour shirt and pant found on 15.10.2013.

3.A male aged about 40-45 years, height 5’6”, dark complexion, oval face and wearing cream colour linedar shirt and grey pant found on 17.10.13.

4.A male aged about 50-55 years, height 5’7”, whitish complexion, round face, and wearing multy colour linedar shirt and Almond colour base root found on 21.10.2013.

5.A male aged about 35/40 years, height 5’4”, whitish complexion, long face and wearing white colour Kurta & Pyajama found on 22.10.2013.

6.A male aged about 50/52 years, height 5’7”, whitish complexion, gole face and wearing checkdar Kurta & white pant found on 22.10.2013.

KIDNAPPING CUM MUDER CASE SOLVED

The police personnel of Police Station Khyala, West District have done a good work by arresting one desperate criminal namely Gian Chand @ Sethi s/o Dal Chand R/o B-3/412 Raghubir Nagar, Delhi and solved a kidnapping cum murder case registered vide FIR No.458/13 u/s 363/376/302/201 IPC at P.S. Khayla.

NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED

Gian Chand @ Sethi S/o Dal Chand R/o B-3/412 Raghubir Nagar, Delhi, age 35 years is a desperate criminal, who is involved in crime since 1995. He was also arrested earlier in 1995 in a criminal case registered vide FIR No. 619/95 u/s 354/506 IPC P.S. Rajouri Garden and in a case registered vide FIR No. 1006/2000 u/s 302/34 IPC PS Rajouri Garden in which the accused had killed one Chandu S/o Ganga Ram R/o C-235, Raghubir Nagar, Delhi. He had undergone imprisonment for a period of 6 ½ years in the Jail for said crime.

1.  FIR No.619/95 u/s 354/506 IPC PS Rajouri Garden.

2.  FIR No.1006/2000 u/s 302/34 IPC PS Rajouri Garden.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

On 05.11.13, the complainant of Raghubir Nagar, Delhi had reported at PS Khyala that on 05.11.13 his daughter age about 08 years was present at house. He had gone for his routine job in the morning. When he came back, he found his daughter missing and also showed his suspicion on a person living in neighbourhood. On the basis of his statement a kidnapping case was registered at PS Khayla and investigation was taken up by ASI Inder Singh.

During the course investigation, the local police scrutinized the record of police station and shortlisted the criminals involved in committing in such type of crime. Local intelligence was activated and sources were deployed. The description of suspect and the girl was shared with all the police stations. A search operation was also launched to find out the missing girl in various parks in the nearby locations. Finally on the basis of the description given by the local residents, one person namely Gian Chand was picked up for interrogation.

INTERROGATION

On sustained interrogation, he disclosed that on 05.11.13 he had gone to residence of the victim and lured the girl on the pretext that her mother was calling her. On the way he gave some sweets to the girl to keep her in a joyful moods. After taking girl for about 6-7 Kms. area near Railway Lines, Pachim Vihar. He tried to assault the girl, but she raised alarm, thus he lost his temper and hit the girl with a stone on her head, which led to her death. The accused has been arrested and further investigation is on.

Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

BLIND MURDER CASE SOLVED

The staff of PS Hari Nagar, West District has arrested one Pappu Yadav, S/o Raju Yadav, R/o Patri Yamuna Pusta, Delhi and solved a blind murder of one Binod.

Pappu Yadav, S/o Raju Yadav, R/o Patri Yamuna Pusta, Delhi Age-27 years.

INCIDENT, TEAM AND ARREST

A PCR call vide DD No. 19A dated 3/11/13 at 3 PM was received at PS Hari Nagar that a dead body was lying at D-26, Janak Puri, Indian Medical Association, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Hari Nagar. On the receipt of the above said information, SHO/ Hari Nagar along with the staff reached the spot and found that a male dead body was lying on the roof of a building named ‘Medico House’ belonging to Indian Medical Association. The District Crime Team was called and the place of occurrence was got inspected. The deceased was identified as Vinod @ Raju @ Dai resident of Nepal. From the inspection of place of occurrence, inspection of body, circumstances, injuries sustained on the body of the deceased, a case U/s 302 IPC vide FIR No 514/13 dated 3/11/13 PS Hari Nagar was immediately registered.

INTERROGATION

In order to solve the case a team comprising of Inspr. Bhaskar Sharma, SHO Hari Nagar, Insp Somnath Puruthi, SHO Mayapuri, Insp Kamaldeep, ATO Hari Nagar, SI Asish Kumar, D-636, PS Mayapuri, SI Daljeet No D- 4192, PS Hari Nagar, HC Jai Bhagwan No 2336/W, HC Shashi, No 1471/W, HC Dasrath No 724/W, HC Azad No189/W, Ct Sanjay No 1142/W, Ct Mahender No1201, under the close supervision of Shri Vinit Kumar, ACP/Tilak Nagar, was constituted for gathering information. During investigation the deceased has been identified as Vinod @ Raju @ Dai. He alongwith and Pappu was knew each other and were working as labourer togather for 3-4 years. Both of them were staying in Rain Basera, Yamuna Bazar, Old Delhi Railway Station. On 30.10.13 they were deployed for a function organized at D-26 Institutional area, Janak Puri by one contractor Mr. Ajay Verma. Mr. Ajay Verma was extremely happy with their performance during the function and invited them to come again for collection of their Diwali gifts. Accordingly both of them came on 02.11.13 at about 6.30 PM to collect their gift item for Diwali Celebration. Both of them were given tip by the contractor for which they purchased liquor and started drinking at D-26 Institutional area, Janak Puri.

However, he had also given Rs.100/- to them for the purchase of sweets. Out of Rs.100/-, Rs.20/- were spent for the purchase of Biri, Match box and remaining Rs.80/- are to be shared between them. After consuming liquor both Vinod and Pappu started fighting each other on the remaining amount 80 rupees. During scuffle Pappu attacked on Vinod and strangulated him with the rope.

Further interrogation of several person revealed that the deceased slept on the rooftop with Pappu. It also came to light that Pappu left the said place all of sudden in the middle of night. The team was immediately dispatched to Yamuna Pushta area to locate Pappu but he had no permanent address. The local inquiry in the area further revealed that Pappu did come there but reportedly left for Haridwar.

A team under the command of Inspr. Bhaskar Sharma, SHO/Hari Nagar immediately left for Haridwar to apprehend Pappu. The raids were conducted at several possible hideouts of Pappu in Haridwar. Further intelligence gathering at Haridwar revealed that Pappu might have gone to Rishikesh. The Team further reached Rishikesh without any further delay and Pappu was finally apprehended there. During sustained interrogation, Pappu confessed to have committed the gruesome crime as the deceased refused to give him Rs.40/- which he received as Diwali gift from his employer. This case has been worked out and the accused Pappu was arrested within 48 hours of the receipt of the information.

SEVEN FEMALES RESCUED FROM G.B.ROAD

On 05-11-2013, seven females, aged between 20-25 years were rescued from GB Road by the police staff of P.S. Kamla Market with the help of ‘STOP’, an NGO.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

On 05-11-2013, two representatives of ‘STOP’, an NGO along with police staff from Karnataka Police approached PS Kamla Market and reported that a girl who was missing from PS Gowribidnur, Karnataka is confined at Kotha No- 58, GB Road and desires to be rescued from there. This input was further developed and it was also revealed that there are several girls at Kotha No. 58, GB Road who have been forced into prostitution and if the raid is conducted several girls could be rescued.

On this, a police team lead by ACP/Daryaganj, Sh. Pranav Tayal along with the representatives of ‘STOP’ an NGO and members of Karnataka police raided the Kotha No. 58, GB Road and seven girls including the missing girl from PS Gowribidnur, Karnatka aged about 20-25 years were rescued. Out of these seven girls, five are residents of Karnataka and two are from Andhra Pradesh. The owner of Kotha Akila has also been arrested.

INVESTIGATION

During investigation, it was revealed that they all belong to poor families and were lured on the pretext of providing them good employment in Delhi.They are being produced before the court for taking further course of legal action and their rehabilitation.

Further investigation/interrogation is in progress.

Ø  ALREADY ARRESTED IN KIDNAPPING AND EXCISE ACT CASES.

Ø  TATA SUMO USED IN ROBBERY AND MOBILE PHONE SNATCHED FROM KANJHAWALA AREA RECOVERED.

INTRODUCTION:-

Northern Range of Crime Branch has been especially entrusted with the task of working out the blind cases of robbery/snatching of police stations falling in Northern Range. With its professional competency and dedicated technical and local intelligence network the team has delivered results within short time and busted a gang of robbers-cum-snatchers by arresting the gang leader Vinod @ Bholu (age 25 years) s/o Shri Suresh Kumar r/o Panna Todran, Village Aasoda, District-Jhajjar, Haryana. His other associates have been identified and search is on for them.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-

On 06.10.2013, one Shashi Kumar r/o Punjab Khod was standing in village Punjab Khod under the jurisdiction of PS Kanjhawala when three persons sitting in a white Tata Sumo car approached him and then they fled away after snatching away his mobile phone. Next day i.e. on 07.10.2013, one Nageshwar Das r/o Prem Nagar, Delhi was standing on main road when he was approached by 4 persons sitting in a white Tata Sumo car and they offered him to drop to New Delhi Railway Station and on the way, they robbed him of Rs.17000/- and dumped him in a dark lonely area near Helipad in the area of PS Shahabad Dairy. Two separate cases of snatching and robbery were registered at PS Kanjhawala and at PS Shahbad Dairy respectively with regard to the aforesaid incidents in their area.

The modus operandi was similar in both cases and it was suspected that the same gang could be involved. In both the cases, the Tata Sumo was returning towards Haryana. Northern Range of Crime Branch under the supervision of ACP KPS Malhotra and overall guidance of DCP Kumar Gyanesh formulated a team to develop the information about the gang involved in the cases.

On 05.11.2013, information was received by SI Brahmdev that one Vinod @ Bholu who is indulging in trafficking of illicit liquor from Haryana to Delhi is also committing road side robberies on the way back to Haryana after supplying the liquor and he would be passing from Chandershekher Azad Marg, at around 7 PM, if raided, he could be apprehended.

Accordingly, a team led by Inspr Arvind Kumar and comprising of SI Brahmdev, HCs Subhash, Ajeet, Surender, Pradeep, Ravinder, Cts Praveen, Satbir, Pradeep, Manish and Ravinder under the close supervision of K P S Malhotra was constituted. A trap was laid and at about 07:00 PM, a white TATA Sumo car was noticed coming from the side of Rani Bagh towards Deepali Chowk, Outer Ring Road which was intercepted at the instance of the informer, and the single occupant driver was apprehended by the team.

INTERROGATION:-

The accused was subjected to intensive interrogation. On sustained interrogation, the accused disclosed that he has been involved in trafficking of illicit liquor from Kharkhoda to Shakurpur, Delhi and was arrested in the year of 2011 in PS Bawana, when he was apprehended while trafficking illicit liquor in a Santro Car. He used to supply the illicit liquor to one Nand Lal r/o Sector-16, Rohini and when he did not pay the due amount of Rs.3.5 lac for the illicit liquor supplied to him, Vinod along with Ajay @ Lala, Bittoo and Jai Kumar abducted him and took him to Kharkhoda, Haryana and forced him to pay the amount of Rs.3.5 lac. He was released after paying the ransom amount of Rs.3.5 lac to them. The matter was reported to PS KN Katju Marg and a case of kidnapping for ransom was also registered against them and later on, he along with his associates were also arrested in this case also. Both the cases are pending trial. He used to supply the illicit liquor to different parties in Shakur Pur, Madi Pur, Daya Basti, Prem Nagar etc. He used to travel at odd hours and when he used to return, sometimes people used to give signal to give lift and he then started charging fare from them. He was being accompanied by 2-3 other associates to help him in case of any problem in the way.

He then started robbing those passengers and in the similar manner, he took away cash and phone from passengers on his return route. The phone snatched by him from Kanjhawala area was recovered from him.
