·  Applications are available in the Guidance Office for the Leo Moats and South Central Power scholarships.

·  Information is available in the Guidance Office on the following scholarships: M&E Companies, Best Buy, Builders Exchange, The Rumpke Scholarship, ASMC, Mary Ann White Community Service.

·  Ross University will be hosting a Veterinary Exploration Conference and College Fair on February 23rd. This program exposes numerous students to available career in veterinary medicine. Please see the guidance office for more information and an application if you are interested. Registration deadline is February 15th.

·  This past week the Westfall High School Bowling had several matches: Westfall Girls beat Huntington Girls - Westfall Girls & Boys lost to Unioto. Ricky Coreno had a high game of 192.

Allison Meek had the high Girls game with 181.

Westfall Girls beat Circleville Girls - Westfall Boys didn't win -Ben Fultz had a high game of 151 – Westfall Girls beat Wellston Girls Sammi Reynolds had a high score of 165.

·  The results of this year's Westfall Laws of Life Essay contest have been compiled. From a field of 130 essays the top ten were written by Kaitlynn Sandstrom, Amie Musselman, Sara Solomon, Ross Berger, Julia Thompson, Macy Conrad, Jordyn Hollenbeck, Sara Johnson, Adam Horvath Smith,and Breanna Post. The first five essays go on to state competition. Congratulations to all the authors. Many thanks to Mrs. Lorson and Mrs. Brown for reading and judging the essays.

·  Westfall Wrestling placed 2nd as a team at the Greenon Tournament. The following are individual results: 133 Derek Thomas 1st place, 120 Siera Vulgamore 2nd place, 126 Aaron Huffman 1st place, 152 Ethan Allen 4th place, 160 Josh Green 6th place, 220 Schylur Miller 4th place, 285 Jeremiah Koah 1st place.

·  Junior boys – the application for Buckeye Boys State is now available in the Guidance Office and is due Jan. 29th. You must be able to commit fully to the 8 day experience at Bowling Green State University June 9-16, 2013. For the complete list of guidelines, see the guidance office.

·  Junior girls – applications for Buckeye Girls State are due in the Guidance Office by 12:30 pm today.
