Further Education

Train2game - Ongoing.

Whilst looking for an apprenticeship, and so far having been unsuccessful I extended my horizons and looked into what else I enjoy doing that could be turned into a career. This is a college course where at the end I will gain TIGA QA Tester diploma. Need to explain what the course is about

EMPLOYMENT

Sainsbury’s, White Hart Lane, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 5PA

Night shift Warehouse Assistant - September 2012

As one of the Warehouse Assistants, I was responsible for unloading delivery vehicles, checking the order and transferring goods to storage areas. Locate and sort goods so that the shelves are fully stocked at all times of the day.

Online General Assistant - June 2013 – Present

As an online general assistant I need to turn my hand to anything to do with the smooth running of the online shopping department. This involves everything from assisting the driving team with the preparation and loading of customers orders into the vans to assisting the management team in directly contacting customers. I work to tight deadlines working in a team environment.

INTERESTS AND HOBBIES

My interests include listening to music and watching/playing football. I have also played for a local football team. I have a full clean driving licence.

CAREER ASPIRATION

I had been hoping to further my career at Sainsbury’s with progression into management within my current department. But as there is currently an embargo on further recruitment and the opportunities within my department are now limited I have decided to look elsewhere.

I have gained valuable computing experience from my online course, plus work experience working with fellow employees and interaction with customers which I believe will stand me in good stead when looking for alternative employment.

Whilst a good salary is important my first priority is to find suitable employment with career prospects.
