Career aims
As a freelancer I now aim at translating texts from English and German into Swedish, but my knowledge of English enables me to promise top-notch translation services even from Swedish into English (passing the scrutinizing eye of a native speaker). Besides, I wish to take on proof-reading and copy-editing jobs in all three languages. Having completed language studies with top grades in each and every course, after a 28-year long teaching career with nothing but positive student evaluations and with a master’s degree in translation theory, also with top grades in every single course, I now consider my chances to please future customers to be very good. The fact that I passed the advanced authorization test should support this statement. I am a committed and energetic person, also known to be exceptionally efficient, meticulous and punctual.

The last four years I have also been appointed Head of the English Department with a special responsibility for teaching materials and in-service training for the school’s 14 teachers of English. My flair for organization and my positive way have been much appreciated by colleagues and students.

Personal information
The knowledge of my three languages is constantly being nourished by extensive reading: TheEconomist, novels, language magazines and Dagens Nyheter are always within reach. Gaining new knowledge is a strong incentive. My family, our dog, exercise, travels and international contacts I make sure there is time for.
