October 1988: Appointed to Managing Director when Nippon Oil (Australia) Pty. Ltd. (NOA) was established.
December 1986: Appointed as the first Chief Representative of NOC’s Sydney Office in Australia to deal mainly with coal. Served as NOA’s representative to Bayswater Unincorporated Joint Venture (NOA held 10% of the coal mining and marketing venture)
June 1985, Promoted to Manager.
March 1981: Returned to Tokyo to join a new department in NOC, the Alternate Fuel Marketing Office. This dealt with North-West-Shelf LNG
and Australian coals.
April 1978: Transferred to NIPPON OIL (DELAWARE), LTD. (New York Office), as Manager, Administration/Petroleum Supply.
September 1973: Staff coordinator and later promoted to Assistant Manager of NOC’s Nagoya Branch Office (Marketing/Administration).
March 1973: Transferred to NOC’s International Marine Sales Department and worked as sales representative for marketing bunker fuels and marine lubes.
