Yirrkala Locality

I, Robyn Aitken, Executive Director Clinical Support, Education and Public Health Services in the Department of Health, as the delegate of the Minister for Health, under section50(5) of the Volatile Substance Abuse Prevention Actand with reference to section51(2) of the Act, give notice that:

(a)I have approved a new management plan to replace the existing management plan for the Yirrkala locality; and

(b)the new management plan comes into force on the date this notice is published in the Gazette; and

(c)copies of the new management plan may be inspected or obtained:

(i)during normal business hours at the office of the East Arnhem Regional Council at Lot 81, Yirrkala NT 0880; and

(ii)from the Department of Health (Alcohol and Other Drugs Program) website:

Drug Analysis Instrument

I, Bruce Porter, Commander, College Command, in pursuance of section 27B (2) of the Traffic Act, being of the opinion that each member of the Police Force whose name appears in the attached Schedule is: -

(a)trained in the use of a prescribed drug analysis instrument known as the Drager DrugTest 5000; and

(b)capable of using that prescribed drug analysis instrument correctly,

Authorise those members of the Police Force to use that prescribed drug analysis instrument for the purpose of the Traffic Act.

(c)trained in the use of a prescribed breath analysis instrument known as the Drager Alcotest 7110; and

(d)capable of using that prescribed breath analysis instrument correctly,

Authorise those members of the Police Force to use that prescribed breath analysis instrument for the purpose of the Traffic Act.
