Juan José Sáenz

Juan José Sáenz Gallego was born in Burgos (Spain). Began the guitar studies in such city with the teacher Carlos Pérez Carretero. Thereinafter it was moved to Madrid where ended the Music Career in the R.C.S.M. with the teacher Manuel Rubio Giménez (disciple of ReginoSainz de la Maza).
It has worked occasionally with the Master as Jorge Cardoso, José Tomás, José Luis Rodrigo, Francisco Ortiz andNarciso Yepes, who selected to her personally in 1992 to attend the Master Classes that imparted in the Auditorio Nacional of Madrid. /

Currently it develops his artistic career in the triple facet of the pedagogy, the investigation and the interpretation.

As pedagogue dictates classes underway International of Music in Europe and North America; and various International Guitar Contests of Spain, France,Czech Republic and Russia require to him to participate as member of the Jury. From 1987 is Teacher of the Professional Music Conservatory "Ataúlfo Argenta" of Santander (Spain).

As investigating has recaptured the two works that the composer burgalésAntonio José (1902-1936) wrote for guitar: "Romancillo infantil" and "Sonata", being published in theeditorials Ópera Tres (Spain/1994) and Bèrben (Italy/1990) respectively. It is author of the "Technical Guitar Dictionary" published by Mega Publisher (Spain/2000) in the one which exposes and explains the fundamental techniques of the instrument.In the year 2004 Federico's Moreno Torroba son takes charge him, for its later publication, the fingering of the works for its father's less well-known and interpreted guitar.

As interpreter possesses several national and international premiums and it has travelled the concert hall of rooms of concert of Europe, North America and Africa. Their performances have been recorded by the Radio and Television networks of said countries, and the specialized magazines of Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, England and Japan devote to her their pages.

It is founding and artistic director, from 1998, of the International Guitar Week "ReginoSainz de la Maza" that is celebrated in Burgos (Spain), to the one which have attended guitarists of Europe, Asia and America.
