Senior Team FIRO-B®Workshop

Evaluation Summary

Date:13th February 2009

  1. The things I have learnt from the workshop are:
  • How FIRO-B works – it’s excellent. How inclusion, affection and control relates to the way we interact with our colleagues and how these affect our behaviour.
  • Better understanding of my responses to other people’s behaviour.
  • How I behave and why I behave the way I do. More about my team and how we can complement one another’s behaviour.
  • The background to an interesting social analysis tool.
  • Low level of affection.
  • How people’s feelings are different plus their actions.
  • That I’m not as needy as I thought I was. The direct managers around me aren’t too different from me.
  • About FIRO-B and its use, how I scored and the rest of the team, how we complement each other in our views.
  • My behaviour as I see it and how others see it. FIRO-B – excellent.
  • How people have different motivation and needs.
  • That there is a range of personalities in the senior team and some people are different to my previous preconceptions.

  • My perception of me was pretty much as my results demonstrated.
  • That I was right in a lot of ways about myself.
  • That I am engaged by subjects such as these.
  1. My action plan to take back to my workplace is:
  • Consider when I need to adapt and try and moderate my tendency to revert to type when pressured.
