CSF FOCUS GROUPS

In December 2003 CSF, in conjunction with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), distributed stress surveys to all CSF staff. The surveys have been analysed by the HSE and the results will assist developing the County Council’s policy and procedures on work related stress.

To become an active part in this process we are asking representatives across the department to volunteer to attend one of the stress focus groups below. As a member of a stress focus group you will have the opportunity to voice your concerns and highlight areas within your unit where you feel stress effects you and your colleagues most.

The stress focus groups will primarily cover the following areas:

–Test the results of the stress survey against “reality”

–Identify and expose issues

–Identify possible solutions

–Identify good practise that is already taking place within our department
