Classroom Environment:
Our Classroom Environment will consist of:
  • Art from different era’s
  • Famous British people.
  • A welcoming book area that celebrates UK authors and illustrators
  • Examples of children’s’ work and ideas
  • A Victorian Classroom

Mathematics and Logical Thinking
  • Identify important dates in UK recent history.
  • Understand chronological order.
  • Solve time problems using journey times form places on the UK.
  • Solve one step problems involving multiplication and division using objects, pictures and arrays.
  • Practical problem solving for height, length, weight, mass, capacity and volume.
  • Count in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s using music – Beatles.

  • Design a Victorian toy
  • Select appropriate tools
  • Use tools to construct a Victorian toy
  • Evaluate the construction of the toy
