BLOOD DRIVE

This is the last call for any seniors who did not sign up for the blood drive. Please see Miss Kuvik ASAP.

CANCER AWARENESS WEEK

Next week is Cancer Awareness Week

-Starting on Monday, October 24th, we will be praying the Prayer to St. Peregrine in the morning.

- Also, during lunch periods, we will have paper ribbons that the students/faculty/ staff can write names on in memory of loved ones who have passed from cancer. They will be hung in the cafeteria.We will pray for those who are battling cancer.

-On Friday, October 28th, students will be able to wear appropriate Cancer Awareness Shirts over their uniforms. If you have any questions, please see Miss. Kuvik

CHESS CLUB

Will meet outside of the library on Wednesday, October 26th after school.

COMMUNITY SERVICE CORPS (CSC)

Attention all students!! The Peanut Butter and Jelly drive ends on Monday, October 24th! The locations for PB & J collection will be in Student Services, Student Affairs and the Main Office. The Peanut Butter and Jelly collection benefits the Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese. Thank you for your help!

Free eye exams and glasses are available for anyone ages 17 and under!

GUIDANCE

Any freshmen, sophomore or junior who would like to learn more about the United States Naval Academy, please see Sister Jane in the Guidance Office before the end of the day.

JUNIOR RING ORDERS

Our Jostens representative was at RCHS on Friday, October 7thto speak to our Junior class regarding their school rings and the process of ordering them. Information packets and order forms were distributed to the Junior class at this time. Our Jostens representatives will return onMonday, October 24thto collect ring orders during all lunches. Juniors are asked to ensure that you have examined the information packets and discussed this with your parents/guardians and remember to bring the necessary forms and fees onOctober 24thto give to the Jostens representative.

LOST & FOUND DEPARTMENT

Did you go home today without wearing your shoes? There are many many items of clothing and footwear that have been found. If you think that they may be belong to you, please come and claim them in the Student Affairs Office. This offer expires on Friday, October 27th at 2:41PM

NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

NHS tutoring is held every day during the last 20 minutes of all lunch periods.

PRO-LIFE

There will be a pro-life meeting onTuesday, October 25th inRoom 4 after school.

SAINT BASIL’S ACADEMY

St. Basil’s will be hosting a service event to package lunch bags for the homeless in Philadelphia. This will take place on Sunday afternoon, October 30th. They would love to extend an invitation to Roman students to join them and other area Catholic high schools for this common good. See Father Check for more details.

Next Thursday, October 27th, originally scheduled as a Bell 1, will be a Bell 2.

SCHOOL MINISTRY

Mass will be offered today at 5th period in the Chapel.

TECH CLUB

The Tech Club will have a meeting after school in the library onWednesday October 26th. New members welcome.

VETERANS’S DAY ASSEMBLY

Roman will be presenting its annual Veteran’s Day Assembly in November. Any student who would like to participate in this assembly is asked to see Mrs. Brown in the Student Affairs Office. Never forget that you live in the land of the free because of the brave.

BOWLING

The parent/student meeting for anyone interested in Roman bowling originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 26th has been RESCHEDULED for Thursday, October 27th. The meeting will take place in the café at 7PM sharp. Also, physicals need to be turned into Mr. Eaves – NOT the coach – before anyone starts bowling.
