Critical Items
- Stand Alone Hot water boiler option for Bld 33 will be to back up the main boiler. Phil Cutino working estimates and plan. Project completion months away.
- Substation upgrade for Bld 33 has restarted using contractors. Request to extend generator contract is with Charlotte.
Non Critical Items
- Lighthouse monitoring system annual maintenance is complete, the report has been delivered, certification stickers updated.
- Spare clean tent AC equipment identified ($6.4K) and on order.
- Survey for dry storage container foundations complete.
- Flat racks here. Earthquake strap update approved, working estimates. Working with riggers to set them.
- Collecting data on consumables used within clean room.
- ESD shoe vendor here 10/28.Quote in hand and will work to get shoes on order. Another method of ESD prevention is Dual Ground method and the test articles are here and being evaluated.
- Working action Item list with Doug and Joe.
- 15 ton crane – System for speed control defined ($10K) PRat buyer and in process for release to vendor.
- Grounding –grounding bars ordered – to ship end of December.
- Stands for optical survey here.
- Fume hood is acceptable sticker in place.
- TV chamber move in building 33 undergoing check out. Needs earthquake straps welded to base prior to moving into clean room.
- Fix air/nitrogen leak, room 102/104, SEM in place.
- Move Nitrogen purge line 6 feet to the north in room 104 (on room 102 side), SEM in place.
- Installation of nitrogen pressure sensor for monitoring and notification done.
- CO2 extinguishers for the clean room will be ordered.
- Lights in corridor around clean room – installation delayed until 12/17/04 (no electrical work due to stand-down)
- OSHA Violations
- Fire Extinguisher did not receive annual – done.
- Pedestal Grinder needs fixed wiring – grinder removed from operational status and SEM to be submitted.
- Pedestal Grinder tongue guards incorrectly mounted – grinder removed from service, guards to be readjusted.
- Breaker panels unlabeled – SEM submitted, described as “hot work” should be done this month.
- Not every service, feeder, and branch circuit device is legibly or permanently marked – SEM submitted, described as “hot work” and can not be done now.
- Two issues with 15 ton crane found during survey:
- Guard on hook rubs on wire rope – SEM in place will be repaired.
- Hook does not hang straight and cables rub during lifting operations – SEM in place and will be fixed with speed control upgrade after the first of the year.
- Met with Phil Cutino on Temp/Humidity control. SEM to build a proper work platform on either side of air handler so that maintenance can be performed at any time in place. New Humidity/Temperature sensors here and will be installed.
