Park Street School will be offering two camps: Creative Language Arts and Math/Science and Technology, in an effort to enhance learning over the summer months,. These camps are designed for all grade levels of elementary school students.

CREATIVE LANGUAGE ARTS

The Creative Language Arts camp will provide an opportunity for students to learn curriculum outcomes in a creative and exciting manner. Reading, writing and presentationskills will be addressed in such a way as to help students value and enjoy literacy. Students will also have an opportunity to experience such activities as black light theatre, puppet shows, field trips and many other fun and exciting themes. Be sure to bring your imagination with you!

MATH/SCIENCETECHNOLOGY

Math and Science are wonderful! Math and Science are fun! This is the attitude we would like our students to have since understanding these subjects is so important in today’s technologically advanced society. The camp will teach school math and science outcomes by using creative and hands-on approaches including the use of technology with digital cameras, video cameras and computers to explain age-appropriate concepts. Come and learn about math/science technology and do some neat experiments!

The camps are designed to reinforce Park Street School’s emphasis on leadership and citizenship development using the “Leader In Me” program based on Steven Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”.

Please Note: If children have taken these camps during previous years, please know that our camp coordinators introduce NEW ideas/projects every summer.

Students will be grouped by grade level as shown in the charts below. You should register in the grade level your child is completing this June.
