We are an independent charity that provides careers advice and guidance, promotes apprenticeships, and delivers activities for young people through our National Skills Academy network of industry and education supporters. Role overview

This role will provide business, administration and digital support for the Communications Team and other teams in the organisation as is needed. It will help ensure the smooth running of our teams and programmes, including the National Skills Academy network. The role will sit within the Communications Team and will assist on events delivery and our communications campaigns.

Key responsibilities

·  Promote the work of Creative & Cultural Skills through social media, newsletters, digital content and centralised communication channels

·  Support events and programme delivery

·  Provide administrative and marketing support to the organisation

·  Keep communication systems and files up-to-date

Promote the work of Creative & Cultural Skills through social media and centralised communication channels.

·  Source, create and upload content onto the ccskills.org.uk website and online platforms

·  Manage the Creative Choices job and opportunity listings; coordinate, manage and recruit Ask The Experts panel

·  Monitor Google AdWords account, record Google Analytics data and ensure all receipts for online services are processed to Finance

·  Promote the work of Creative & Cultural Skills through Twitter, Facebook and e-newsletters

Support events, including Skills Awards and National Conference

·  Support the planning and delivery of the National Conference and Skills Awards.

·  Create and administer delegate systems for the National Conference and Skills Awards. This will include coordinating the booking process and being the first point of call for delegates; creation of Purchase Orders, ensuring they are correctly coded and issued in line with company procedures.

·  Support other Creative & Cultural Skills events as required.

Provide administrative and marketing support to the organisation

·  Support the marketing and administration of the Programme Team as and when required

·  The above may include taking phone calls and being a point of contact for external enquiries; organising and minuting meetings; recording information on spreadsheets; looking after contracts; and keeping online information up to date.

Keep communication systems and files up-to-date

·  Upkeep and management (to support evaluation and communications) of our contacts database

·  Ensure Asset Bank, and other digital filing systems are kept up-to-date and in order for teams to access communication files and information

Other Requirements:

·  Able to work within the UK, and to work occasional unsocial hours.

Good keyboard skills / Attained ‘A’ level or above qualification, level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent.
An understanding of how to use databases for record keeping.
