CANCELLATION OF ORRA’S 4THFEBRUARY 2015 MEETING

DUE TO THE FOLLOWING NOTICE FROM WSC:-

You are invited to the first workshop in Wyong Shire Council’s project to revitalise the OurimbahTown Centre.

The project has these main objectives:

To make Ourimbah a thriving place to live, work and do business

  • To accommodate growth and stimulate the Ourimbah area, while protecting

its unique character and sensitive setting

  • To develop a vision for the design, development and investment in the

OurimbahTown Centre over the next 20 years

Council seeks your opinions and perspectives. (You may have already contributed through Council’s on-line consultation website – or Ourimbah’s Public Meeting. The Project team has read and considered those contributions already). What will happen at the workshop? There will be brief presentations and lively discussions.

We will:
Explain more about the context of the project and how it will work

Seek your input and ideas

Ask your opinions of some preliminary approaches

Describe how you can give further input to the project, through the Stakeholder Liaison Group, the project’s exhibition period and another workshop.

An independent facilitator, Phillip Hart, will ensure we keep on tract and on time.

Who is invited? The workshop is open for all the local community including residents, business owners, customers and visitors to Ourimbah. Please tell your neighbours, friends and colleagues who live or work in Ourimbah; this invitation is for everybody.

Location: Ourimbah Campus, University of Newcastle

Date and time: 4th February 2015, from 7:00 – 9:00pm
