The CORE committee is compiling a list of all AHECs that have a data system they would like to sell/share with other AHECs. If you are one of these, please send the following info about your system by CoB August 31 to me (). Your system will be included in a special NAO Data System "Marketplace" Bulletin that can help connect you to AHECs that need a data system.

1. A general system description including strengths and limitations. / • The AHEC Data Management System (ADMS) is a Cloud based application that provides end-to-end data management for Area Health Education Centers. The system allows the staff to quickly manage Student, Preceptor, Schools, Preceptor Site, Rotation Assignments and Continuing Education. All activities of Students, Preceptors and Participants are tracked in detail to view their full lifecycle. Meaning, all touch points are tracked from the time the individual contacts the AHEC and throughout their scholastic and professional career. The standard data needed for Georgia and Federal reporting is easily captured by the enhanced reporting and dashboard functionality. See detail modules below.
2. Does it meet federal reporting requirements? (This is an ever-changing definition, so more than just yes/no responses are appropriate.) / • Yes, the system meets all reporting requirements of the federal government at this time.
3. How much would it cost as an initial investment? / • The base application fee is $8,500-$10,000. The system allows for additional configuration customization for a fee.
4. How much are any recurring costs? / • A recurring annual support and maintenance contract is available, but not required, for purchase for $800. Detail SLA will be provided. The support includes providing updates to standard reports so they meet federal government requirements. This also provides basic upgrades to the applications.
5. Who is selling this (an AHEC/a not-for-profit/a for-profit)? / • IT Savvy Consulting
6. Upon buying, would rights to modify the software convey to the new owner, i.e. can I get anyone to service/upgrade/modify the system for me or do I have to use a specific company/organization? / • Yes, the rights to modify the system convey to the buyer and the buyer can procure any qualified professional to perform service/modification to the system.
7. Is the system web-based? / • Yes.
8. If yes, how is it hosted? (On a specific company's server? On the buyer's server? Either?) / • The system is based on Cloud Technology
• Cloud computingis the use ofcomputingresources (hardware and software) that are delivered as a service over the Internet.
9. Is the system intended for Centers? Programs? Both? / • System is currently set up for Centers and their data maintenance. Program requirement needs are under currently under construction.
10. Does the system have an online public registration component? / • The system has an online public event registration capability through integration.
11. How many Centers/Programs currently use the system? / • Two (2) AHECs in the state of Georgia are currently using the system. Three additional Georgia Centers will be going live in September, 2012.
