Before we get started with just handing you a puppy lets take a moment to see if our puppies are the right choice for you and to see which puppy would be best for you. We like to make sure you are fully aware of the work and effort it takes to raise a puppy. This questionnaire is not to judge you and your capability of raising a puppy, but to make sure we send our puppies to the most responsible and loving homes, to ensure their health and safety and to get a better feel and know of who is buying our sweet little angels! We hope you understand how important this is to us! So lets begin!
*We choose only the best suited homes for our puppies, if you do not get chosen it’s not because you weren’t good enough, but because we just feel our puppies need the best suited homes*

A few tips:
*Retainers on any puppy/dog are to be paid immediately if wanting to claim puppy.
*Retainers are NON-REFUNDABLE.
*Puppy must be paid in full 1 week before pick up.
*Questionnaires must be completed and filled out.
*Long answers preferred.
*Contracts must be understood and signed prior to receiving puppy/dog.

1. Why would you like to add one of our Puppies/dog to your family?
2. Why did you choose a Great Dane as the breed you wish to add to your family?
3. Do you have experience with Great Danes or have you ever owned one before? If no, have you done research?
4. What are your expectations if receiving a puppy/ dog from KGD? (ie, attitude, personality, training)
5. Where do you plan on keeping your puppy/dog from KGD? ( ie, Kennel, outside, inside ) *note our puppies are INDOOR dogs and have been raised that way from day one, we believe that if an animal is part of your family they belong inside not outside.*
6. Approximately how many hours a day will your puppy/dog be left home alone? Will they be in a kennel?
7. If you are away on vacation, who will look after your puppy/dog? *Note we are more than willing to help in these scenarios, we love our puppies and will always be there for them, also note we do charge boarding fee but for our past puppies we do it at low reasonable cost to cover food unless supplied.*
8. What diet do you plan on putting your puppy/dog on?
9. Are you aware of how important a Great Danes diet is, especially as puppies? (ie research knuckling over In danes)
10. If you are feeding kibble, would you ever consider feeding a raw diet?
*If you are unaware of raw diets, our website and Facebook page both have tons of information and we are more than willing to answer any questions you have*
11. If choosing to stick with kibble what brand do you plan on feeding your puppy/dog?
* We recommend feeding only the highest quality food that has protein levels no higher than 24% and fat levels of 12-15% to ensure the best growth, NEVER FEED PUPPY FOOD TO YOUR DANE PUPPY*

12. If you are renting are you allowed an XL sized dog to be living in the home.? Do you have access to a yard or dog park?
(if you are renting or in an apartment or condo we may require proof that you are allowed to have an XL breed, Being GD owners we understand that condo associations/apartments have restrictions on animal size, as do some landlords, we don’t mean for this to seem invasive but we don’t want to have to sell a puppy and have it get attached to their new home to find out they can’t stay.)
13. In getting one of our puppies/dog what do you plan on having them for? (ie companion, show dog, breeding, protector/guard, agility)
14. Are you aware of the strict no breeding contract and strict spay/neuter contract?
15. Are you aware of the costs any dog can be medical wise, from things such as emergency surgeries to normal yearly examinations?
16. List below the veterinarian you plan on using for your puppy, include number, address, name of clinic and vet.
*If you are unsure what vet clinic you would like to use, perhaps some research and asking around in your town would help you decide, also if you are close to us we can give you some vets we like to use*

AGREEMENTS AND CONDITIONS: please sign each
1: Do you fully understand that this Puppy/dog (Great Dane) is to never be bred for any reason? If this agreement is broken are you aware both the Great dane will be taken and possession will remain back with Lexie Gale and Brady Little? (This includes offspring born or still in womb)
2. Breech of contract is a legal cause of action in which a binding agreement or bargained for exchange is not honored by one or more of the parties, do you understand that breeching the contract will result in possible sue, with fines that range on what was breeched in contract, along with immediate possession of dog being place to Lexie Gale and Brady Little?
3. Do you agree and understand that if you are no longer able to care for said Puppy/dog that said puppy must be returned to Lexie gale and Brady Little, at your own expense with no refund, lexie gale and brady little will then find a new suitable home for said puppy/dog?
4. If said puppy/dog is rehomed without Lexie Gale and Brady little being notified, you will be facing penalties/ fines that are mentioned in signed contract by both parties?
5. Do you understand that if for any reason you are unable to take possession of your new puppy but have paid in full for said puppy, you can either be reimbursed of what you paid minus retainer paid, or instead the money can be transferred to a future little of a dog that is lesser or equal value to the one you paid for?
6. Do you understand and agree to all the terms and conditions that are stated both above and in our contracts that are placed?
7. As a puppy buyer do you always promise to keep in contact with Lexie Gale and Brady Little, Do you promise to give updates and photos of how said puppy is doing, do you also promise that if at all ever asked by lexie gale or brady little to provide pictures at any reasonable time to do so?

Before finishing our questionnaire we would like to take a moment to make sure you fully understand what kind of decision your making. Having a dog is a lifetime commitment. You are the person who provides this Canine with food, shelter, and medical needs. You are the person they look up to when they are sad, hurt. You are their joy and happiness. You are their best friend. Before you make any quick and hasty decisions and before you put down a retainer you need to make sure that this is what you want. Is a Great Dane the right choice for you? Are our puppies the right choice for you? Read through our contract once or twice, make sure you understand the agreements your making and all the conditions. We want what best for our puppies and these contracts and questionnaires are set up to find them the best homes possible. We care!
I hereby swear and promise that I have answered every question truthfully and to the best of my ability. By submitting this questionnaire I have made myself fully aware of all the responsibilities I am promising to make to ensure the healthiest and happiest life for said Puppy/dog. I swear to always care for an love my said puppy/dog and to give it the best life I can. I agree that if I am found untruthful and dishonest in answering any of the above questions that I am responsible for the loss of getting my said Puppy/dog. If I am found guilty of abusing (physically, emotionally) , neglecting, denying medical attention, starving, refused attention by being place outside on chain all its life and or using my said puppy/dog to fight, I will be held responsible for my actions and I give full permission to Lexie Gale and Brady Little to proceed in placing any penalties or fines I may face against me for doing so. I promise to abide by contracts both (strict breeding contract and strict spay/neuter contract) and also all the terms and conditions that fall under it. Abusing my said puppy results in Lexie Gale and Brady little, or any and all law enforcements the right to come onto my property and take possession of my said puppy/dog. I then at this point also agree if I am found guilty of breeching contracts I forfeit any and all ownership of my said Puppy/dog. I hereby bind myself to all contracts (terms and conditions) placed with said puppy from Lexie gale and Brady Little. I promise to always follow these terms and conditions. I acknowledge that Lexie Gale and Brady Little have the right to call, email and check in on said puppy at any time. I also give consent for Lexie Gale and Brady little the right to post my updates such as photos, emails, letters about my said puppy/dog on their website, Facebook pages, Youtube accounts and or Instagram.
