Event Rules

Ribbons awarded to 5th Place in each class.

  • Champion / Reserve Sash awarded for Preliminary, Novice and Elementary per age groups.
  • PRIZES ALSO AWARDED TO CHAMPION AND RESERVE CHAMPION
  • Preparatory tests are for combinations that have not placed 1st at a Zone Dressage Day and will not count towards the yearly point score or Champion Reserve at event.
  • Age you are on the day.
  • Riders allowed to ride in two consecutive levels only.
  • HC rider combinations permitted but must be nominated before the event and the second horse will be considered HC.
  • Callers are permitted if multiple tests.
  • Gear rules as per Pony Club and Zone 24 rules for dressage events. All dressage tests are to be ridden in a snaffle bit and noseband as per Pony Club Handbook. No boots, bandages, martingales etc., Dressage whips must not be longer than 110 cm and must have a tassel or flap at the end.
  • Only current financial Pony Club members are eligible to ride and full Pony Clubuniform to be worn.
  • One worker per rider is required for the day (Please note this will be required for entry). Please specify preferred Job. (Not guaranteed).
  • If 2 riders score the exact same percentage in a test, the winner will be determined by count back method. i.e.: highest mark starting from the bottom (collective marks), of the test wins.
  • Points are awarded as per Interclub Days for 1st to 5th for each test. The Champion of each level will be the rider with the highest number of points at that level. In the event of a tie on points, the Champion will be the rider who places higher in the more difficult test e.g.: 2.3 wins over 2.1.
  • This event will be run in accordance with Pony Club NSW guidelines & Zone 24 by-laws.
  • No refunds given after event closing date unless accompanied by Vet or Doctors Certificate.

DISPUTES = Must be in writing accompanied by $20. No verbal complaints will be accepted, if dispute is upheld then money will be refunded.
