  1. Call to order 7:00 pm
  2. Attendance: Deb Zepeda, Kate Gambino, Todd Dusosky, Nick Kopp, Michelle Paine, Susie Griffith, Jennifer Gallipo, Brian Newcomer, Jill Robinson, Karl Woerle.
  3. Not in attendance: Brian Evans, Jackie Fabel, Melissa Bright, Steve Kehr, Kirt Anderson and Dana Gibson

  1. President - Districts start July 13, State girls will be at CR, Girls Tournament: during down time need to clean out the shed. Shed filling with water, need foundation resealed. Freezer is broke in concession stand, having someone coming out to fix it, will need to buy a new one for girls tournament if can’t be fixed. Old Kohl’s Cup/MYSA Jamboree: MYSA looking to see if we want to host Sept 23rd. Want to pass since we are over tapped with ODP and other tournaments. Need to discuss Todd’s position for representation of branding and marketing, reminder of Todd’s review in August Board Meeting, and discussion of new tournament director (Brian Newcomer stepping down), webmaster and administrator. Concession stand: broke into this week. Police believe it is an inside job, 2 board members and LuAnn have keys and the city has 3 keys. City is looking into where their keys are located. Have bought new padlocks. Looking into security systems for 2 on the outside and one inside. 4th of July parade on July 3rd, line up at 4:00 start at 6:00. TOP Soccer: June 25th, July 30th. Need Board members present and need a few teams to play U13 up, 5:00-8:00?, need 20-25 volunteers to help.
  2. Vice President – Club Rebranding: need to get website up to date, need to compile job descriptions, will be hitting it hard this summer. Shed: Kirt Anderson is looking into shed maintenance work, wanting to promote CR businesses to do the work.
  3. Treasurer – Financial Reports- balance of $143,000.00, paid refunds from boys tournament, girls u12 team reimbursed, workmen’s comp audit will be happening by the end of July, taxes will be done by end of week, have hotspot for at the complex.
  4. Rec Committee - 4 weeks into the season, 439 players. Last year was 495 players. Looking at how to up the numbers for next year. Positive feedback on the trainers and older players helping for some of the time. End of summer jamboree: change name to CR United Community Soccer Night, Weds July 12, 5:30-8:00 and have bouncy houses and other fun activities. Looking for rec and comp volunteers, advertising on big boards, having a survey. Kohl’s has a volunteer grant program, we were approved for it for Soccer Night, look at Kohl’s volunteers for District and State. Fall rec registration: open July 1st or July 5th due to website maintenance, looking at discount if register onsite at Soccer Night. Discussion needed for raising rec fees.
  5. Competitive Committee – Tryouts starting July 11 for U9/U10, Aug 8 they need to commit by for comp, looking at u7/u8 players to come out for tryouts,
  6. Registrar – only 8 registered for camp currently so need to promote especially at girls tourney,
  7. Fundraising Committee -
  8. Tournament Committee – Girls tourney: 4-8 check in on Friday, 8-12 on Sat. All u9/u10 play done on Sat, 43 teams playing in girls tourney. Tournaments for next year: May 18-20, look at avoid Father’s Day weekend, discussion on combining girls/boys tourneys- May 18-20 co-ed u13 up, June 26-27 coed u9-u12: Brian Newcomer motion, Jenny Gallipo second, motion pass. Brian Newcomer wants for emergency phone # recording for updating on weather, etc, (Comcast has it for $30 a month) and a tool to communicate to teams for tourney info (Got Soccer for texts?). Need postcard for tourneys complete by September for Nov Soccer Times and winter events, need at least 500 printed.

Marketing Director – 4th of July Parade: Todd will get the truck, Brian E. can hook up speakers, flyer with survey and drawing for United tickets, mass email for players (esp. 10 yo and up), wanting Chick Fil A as sponsor and getting mascot there, working on website, Jess Moore will help work on flyers.

  12. Director of Coaching - Karl is new girls coach at the HS, rec training is going good, getting a truck for 4th of July parade, thanks to Brian for tournament work, thanks to Jenny for rec work, Shopper ad looks good, Rebels and NW Kickers looking at merging
