CONTRACTFOR INTERNATIONAL PARTICIPANTS

We would hereby like to participate in the 2016 TÜBİTAK Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Competitionorganised by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) in the …...... category as the“...... ” University“…….………………………...... ”team. We have read and understood the rules at

• We accept and pledgethat we will abide by all provisions in the Rules for the TÜBİTAK Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle BatteryElectric Vehicles (Electromobile) or Hydrogen FuelledVehicles (Hydromobile) category; we will be able to participate in the race only in accordance with the guidelines in the Rules; otherwise, we know that we will be dismissed as a team from the competition bythe jury’s decision,
• If we participate in the competition,we will be responsible for taking any safety precautions regarding third parties,our party, team members, service personnel, and the vehicle we will use; TÜBİTAK or sporting event organisers will not bear any pecuniary and/or nonpecuniary liabilities towards our party or third parties due to any accident, damage, natural disaster, or disability that might take place before or during the race,
• We will abide by all relevant legislation to be issued by TÜBİTAK and sporting organisers,
• With this contract, we will implement pilot studies to be held separately fromthe competition as determined by the TÜBİTAK Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Jury in order to develop the competition,
• If one or several team members are determined to have conducted ungentlemanly behaviour by written or verbal means against other team members or event organisers before or during the competition,we will be dismissed from the races by the jury and we may be banned from participating in the competition for at least 1 year,
• We are aware that we will bear pecuniary/nonpecuniary liability for damages incurred by TÜBİTAK if our status/conduct requiresdismissal,
• We are aware that recognition of prizes and/or financial support and expenditures to be provided in the scope of the activity will be realised within the framework of the rules,
• In the eventof failure to participate in the activity without a valid excuse or dismissal from the competitiondue to ungentlemanly conduct, all of the subsidies provided for participating as an institution/organisation or team with this contractwill be returned to the relevant bank account of TÜBİTAK within fifteen (15) days following the end date of the competition.
