Consumer Credit Counseling Service is approved to provide the 2 hour personal financial management class*in Wichita.
You may attend thismandatory class after filing for bankruptcyand obtaininga case number.
As a convenience, especially for filers who live outside the Wichita area, classes are generallyheld on the same day as the “Section 341”, creditor,or Trustee hearing that will occur approximately 30 days after you file for bankruptcy.Classes are also held on selected Saturday mornings every month. Please arrive about 15 minutes beforehand for registration. The fee for the in-personclass is $35for an individual filer or couple filing jointly. Classesare held at the Consumer Credit Counseling Service office at the Broadway Plaza, 105 S Broadway Ste 900 in Wichita, KS 67202. We alsooffer the course through a telephone conference call held on selected Mondays at 1:00 pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00 am. The fee for the course is$35 for an individual filer or couple filing jointly. Or the course may be takenonline with fees of $30 for an individual filer or a couple filing jointly. Please call our office for registration instructions. Please schedule a class as soon as you have a case number because we have been advised that you must attend the class no later than 45 days after your hearing. The certificate required as part of the paperwork needed for a bankruptcy to be discharged will be issued at the completion of the class.
Please be sure to arrive for your class at least 15 minutes prior to the start time. And please bring a government issued photo ID and your bankruptcy case number to the class.

Weekday morning classes start at 9:00 AMand afternoon classes start at 1:00 PM. Saturday morning classes start at 10:00 AM. Please arrive about 15 minutes beforehand for registration.
Directions: From Kellogg, (Also called Highway 54/400) exit at Central Business District. Proceed to Broadway St. Turn north, toward downtown to Douglas, stay in the right lane. There is parking along Douglas in both directions and on Broadway, north of Douglas. We are in the Broadway Plaza Building at the southwest corner of S Broadway and Douglas.
Enter the building on the East side, go into the lobby and take an elevator to the 9th floor. We are in Suite 900 as you exit the elevator.
