SANCTION:This Invitational is sanctioned by USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming with Sanction number IN12091
LOCATION:ConnersvilleHigh School Pool

FACILITY:The facility contains a 6 lane 25 yard pool with turbulent control lane markers. The pool
has a minimum depth of 4”1” and is eligible for use with starting blocks in a manner prescribed by USA Swimming. The competition course has not been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). Each lane is equipped with Colorado electronic timing system. Digital watches are used as backup. Bleacher spectator seating is provided, and concessions are available. Heat sheets will be sold.

DEADLINE:The deadline for all entries is 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011
The deadline will be extended if the meet in not full.
ELIGIBILITY:The swimmer’s age as of November 18, 2010 will determine eligibility for all events. All swimmers must be currently registered with USA swimming. Each swimmer’s USA Swimming registration number must accompany their entry.
FORMAT:All events are timed finals. The meet will be run on Hy-Tek Meet Manager.
RULES:Current USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming rules will govern this meet. USA Swimming Rules 202.3.2 – USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during the warm-up, competition, and warm-down. The Meet Director or Meet Referee shall assist the athlete in making arrangements for such supervision.
“Any swimmer entered in the meet, unaccompanied by a USA Swimming member coach, must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. It is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
“Coaches MUST constantly display their USA Swimming coach credential to gain deck access. The meet referee reserves the right to ask for coach credential display and/or deny deck access if coach does not comply or card is no longer valid/current.
In swimming competitions, the competitor must wear only one swimsuit in one or two pieces except as provided in 205.10.1. All swimsuits shall be made from textile materials. For men, the swimsuit shall not extend above the navel nor below the knees, and for women, shall not cover the neck, extend past the shoulder, nor extend below the knee.

ENTRIES:Each swimmer is limited to 3 individual events Friday and 5 individual eventsSaturday.
Each swimmer is limited to 2 relay events.
If entered in more than the limit of events, the entries will be made by the number order of events starting with event #1 until the limit is satisfied.
ENTRY
PROCEDURE:Entries must be submitted by email. Each swimmer’s USA number must be included with your entry. All speed times must be submitted in yards. Please double-check all entries prior to submission. Please email any changes as soon as you are aware of them. Additions to teams already entered will be accepted through 12:00noon November 15th.
Fees and the signed release form (page 5) must be received by Meet Start Time.
Teams whose fees have not been received by the deadline will not be allowed to swim.
If a swimmer scratches an event or the entire meet, we cannot substitute another swimmer in his/her place nor will any fees be refunded.

ENTRIES:No Deck entries will be accepted; however, changes and additions will be accepted via email until 12 noonMonday, November 15th. Please send additions and or changes as soon as you are aware of them.

COURSE:All 8 and Under events will be clerked. Swimmers must report to the Clerk of Course upon announcement of first call for their events.
Check In:To sign-in, please locate the sign-in sheetsfound on the pool windowjust inside the
school pool entrance.To sign-in, please highlight the swimmer’s name. If a swimmer plans to swim, but wishes to scratch an individual event, please “X” through that event number rather than reporting it to the entry chair.

5:30 p.m.Friday and 8:15 a.m. Saturday!
Swimmers who have not arrived and signed-in, will be scratched.

AWARDS:Ribbons will be awarded for the top 12 places for individual events and the top 3 relays. For scoring purposes all Friday night events, and Saturday’s 8U events will score 6U, 7-8,9-10, 11-12, and 13& Over age groups separately.
Please pick up your team’s ribbons following the meet.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place Individual High Point Medallions will be awarded to both boys and girls for each age group: 6U, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, & 13 & Over.
FINAL
RESULTS:A Hy-Tek Team Manager results file will be emailed to the email address noted for the entry chair on page 4 of this packet. Signed hard copy results will be mailed to each participating club. Results will not be distributed following the conclusion of the meet.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the swim meet, club, and its swimmers, coaches, parents, members, and volunteers hereby release and forever discharge Connersville Area Swim Team, USA Swimming, Indiana Swimming, Connersville High School, Fayette County School Corporation, the respective directors, officers, agents, employees, members, successors, and assigns of each of them, and all other persons or entities in any way connected with the sponsoring or holding this swim meet, of and from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses, damages, or expenses, of whatever kind of character, arising out of or in connection with said swim meet and the facilities and personnel for it. Further, club, and its swimmers, coachers, parents, members, and volunteers shall indemnify and hold harmless Connersville Area Swim Team, USA Swimming, Indiana Swimming, Connersville High School, Fayette County School Corporation, the respective directors, officers, agents, employees, members, successors, and assigns of each of them, and all other persons or entities in any way connected with sponsoring or holding this swim meet, of and from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses, damages or expenses, of whatever kind or character, arising out of or in connection with any injury to any person, including death, or injury or damage to any property.
The undersigned represents that he/she is authorized by the club, and its swimmers, coaches, parents, members, and volunteers to execute this release and hold harmless agreement on behalf of each of them, binding club, and its swimmers, coaches, parents, members and volunteers to the terms hereof.
