We are ranked 33rd in the nation for graduating Hispanic students with bachelor’s degrees, according to Hispanic Outlook Magazine. We were recognized nationally for our many outreach and community engagement efforts by being named to the 2009 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll by the Corporation for National and Community Service. And recently, we opened UHD Northwest, bringing our flexible class schedules, expert faculty and several of our well-established programs to the growing 249 area of northwest Houston at UHD Northwest in collaboration with Lone Star College – University Park.
