Conference Evaluation, Verification of Attendance and Self-Assessment CME

All information must be submitted no later than Friday, March 18th to receive CME and/or self-assessment credits.

The Western Trauma Association is offering the opportunity for Self-Assessment CME from our Annual Meeting held in Lake Tahoe, CA. All meeting attendees are encouraged to access the system below to submit a verification of attendance form, take self-assessment exams (optional), fill out a conference evaluation, and print an ACS approved credit certificate.

Step 1. Verification of Attendance

Once you complete and submit your Verification of Attendance form, you may continue on to Step 2 or 3:

If you want to claim Self-Assessment credit, select and complete desired Self-Assessment exams (see Step 2).

If you do not want to claim Self-Assessment credit, you may skip Step 2 and complete the Course Evaluation (see Step 3).

Step 2: Self-Assessment Exams

Please note that exams will not appear until the completion of each day of the meeting.

You may elect to take all, part or none of the self-assessment exam. If you choose NOT to take any portions of the exam, go to Step 4 to download your CME Certificate.

A passing score of 75% or higher is required to receive self-assessment credit for a portion of the meeting. Upon submitting your answers, you will immediately find out if you passed or failed, and which questions were answered incorrectly.

You may take an exam an unlimited number of times.

Once you have passed all portions of the exam for which you are seeking credit, your certificate will be available from the site for you to download to your computer (Step 4). If you do not pass all portions of the exam, you will not receive the self-assessment credits for that portion.

Step 3. Course Evaluation

Course evaluation form must be completed prior to moving on to Step 4.

Step 4: Download CME/Self-Assessment Credit Certificate

You will NOT receive a confirmation email with your exam results. Therefore, the Western Trauma Association strongly recommends you print the certificate upon completion of all exams. The WTA will provide confirmation of your completed exam results with our final CME report, submitted to the American College of Surgeons for this program. If you are a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, your CME credit will be posted to your MyCME portal page within 3 months following the event.
