Therapeutic Support Practitioner/Assistant Psychologist
Scale Point 31-34 (£27,123-£29,538) pro rata. 37 hours a week,
(45.5 weeks per annum).
We are seeking to appoint a therapeutic support practitioner / assistant psychologist to contribute to the delivery of pastoral intervention and guidance across our five settings in Wolverhampton (Four primary academies and 1 secondary academy),

Under the supervision of a Health Care Professional Council (HCPC) registered Educational Psychologist, your role will be to provide psychologically based assessment, intervention and advice, ensuring that best practice principles are adhered to. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic psychology graduate, with a very good first degree, to develop their skills in delivering a psychologically-based service.
A background in delivering therapeutic intervention is essential, alongside experience of working with children and young people. We are committed to embedding robust psychological principles within our settings, and anticipate that you would play a role in this.
