A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO FIX WEDNESDAY, MAY 28, 1997, AT 12:00 NOON, AS THE TIME FOR ELECTING A SUCCESSOR TO THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA CONSUMER AFFAIRS COMMISSION FOR SEAT 1, SO AS TO FILL THE TERM WHICH EXPIRES AUGUST 31, 1997.

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the Senate and House of Representatives meet in Joint Assembly in the Hall of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, May 28, 1997, at 12:00 noon, as the time for electing a successor to the members of the South Carolina Consumer Affairs Commission for Seat 1, so as to fill the term which expires August 31, 1997. To be elected in this joint assembly a candidate must receive a majority of the votes cast by the members of the House of Representatives and a majority of the votes cast by the members of the Senate.
