  • Approach staffing agencies about handing out our info to candidates. Jessica’s sister works with ProLogistics resources. Those types of candidates would be great for us. Jessica C thinks she would be happy to do this for us.
  • APICS Atlanta is doing a radio show once a month and have gotten tremendous response. They promote it on all the social media.
  • Scott Luton’s wife, Amanda, started a social media marketing company. She does all of that for the Atlanta chapter and it has really helped grown their chapter. Maybe she could to that for us too. We can add this in the budget. We also discussed having an intern through the college to do this for us. Might create some disconnect if each intern didn’t document their work well.

Financial /
  • Budget has been finalized
  • We haven’t gotten our income from CPIM course yet, we will have a significant profit this year

Education /
  • Lana is moving to Texas effective Jan 2018. She brought a USB and some materials to hand off to the new VP of Education. Some things can be passed on to Tom. Maybe Jeff can teach some. Sue Belair will take this over for now. She has the magic USB from Lana.
  • Cell Phone Game - Take this program out to schools. Jessica Clayton to look into this for next year. Junior/Senior year of high school is a good time to catch students. Jessica would touch base with the guidance counselor. Have a career day at a high school. Could easily be fit into the schedule.
