You requested:

  1. Please provide a detailed account of where the following charity donation money has been spent (by the following, I mean on which ward, for what purpose and how much has been spent, on patients, staff and research):

The information readily available to the Trust is supplied as attached.

This response has taken 2 hours to produce. In order to provide the remainder of the information, the Trust hasestimated a further 22 or more hours will be required. The Trust is therefore applying a refusal notice under s.12 to the extra information sought from this request, as it has been estimated that the cost of complying with the request exceeds the ‘appropriate limit’.

s.12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, provides an exemption from a public authority’s obligation to comply with a request for information, where the cost of compliance is estimated to exceed the appropriate limit. The appropriate limit is the key concept concerning fees.

The fees regulations state that this cost limit is £600 for central government, legislative bodies and the armed forces (i.e. part 1 of schedule 1 of the FOIA) and £450 for all other public authorities.
