Salary: / £22,434 - £24,717 (for 37 hours)

Role Guide
Relating to your role
Works with the engagement and locality teams in conjunction with the CEO and Heads of Service to establish, implement and develop a fundraising strategyand annual development plan
Identifies, researches, targets and solicits potential supporters face to face and / or in writing and by phone, to raise funds. Supporters will be drawn mainly from individuals, local and regional societies and commercial organisations.
Develops persuasive and innovative proposals, case studies, reports and data capable of achieving income generating programmes from a range of sources.
Designs and delivers initiatives that raise the profile of the Carers Resource, with regular review of targets to encourage fundraising on our behalf.
Develops and runs fundraising campaigns and events that both raise income and the profile of the organisation.
Initiates and manages donor recruitment / fund-raising events either alone or with support from volunteers and staff colleagues.
Manages ongoing donor relationships / liaison, with appropriate feedback and contact reports.
Actively promotes the ethos, brand and services of the Carers’ Resource to external stakeholders whilst drawing on support and input from colleagues as appropriate.
Creates and leads teams of volunteers to deliver specific projects.
Works in conjunction with the CReate team to target local employers and build effective working relationships
Sets up new carer groups initially using the facility available in Skipton to meet the needs of carers.
Works with the Volunteer Co-ordinator to recruit new volunteers and to facilitate groups when established.
Engages with carers locally to promote groups and their involvement in them.
Uses different communication methods to raise awareness of carers groups/ events and to generate interest and attendance at these.
Visits carer groups across Craven and beyond where appropriate, to measure their experience as an unpaid carer, their experience of Carers’ Resource and feed back to management.
Engages in the planning and implementation of organisation wide activities and events with the rest of the Engagement Team.
Facilitates the use of social media to publicise events and activities.

The post will involve some evening and weekend work for which time in lieu may be taken. Flexibility with hours and travel is required.
