Pursuant to Assembly Bill 1497, the Yuba-Sutter LEA will be holding this public information meeting regarding a proposed revision to the SWFP for Feather River Organics. The Yuba-Sutter LEA received an application to revise the existing SWFP on June 12, 2012 and accepted it as complete and correct for filing on July 9, 2012.
Currently, Feather River Organics operates under a full SWFP to compost green material. The facility proposes to compost food materials in addition to green materials. The addition of food materials as a permitted feedstock requires a revision to the existing SWFP.
The Public Information Meeting is for interested parties to learn more about the proposed change to the existing SWFP. A copy of the application can be obtained from the LEA by contacting Stephanie Kendall or Paul Donoho at (530)749-5450 during regular business hours.
