Permit / The above named person, called the Occupant, is permitted to use the above mentioned garden plot under the following terms/conditions:
1. The occupant agrees that the use and occupation of the garden plot shall be at his/her own risk.
2. This permit is not assignable or transferable without the prior written consent of the CDC.
Parking / 3 The Occupant shall park in the designated parking area only.
Stewardship / 4.  The Occupant agrees to care for their land in a good, environmentally responsible manner. Every effort shall be made to use healthy, organic gardening principles and products.
5.  All pets must be leashed and Occupant must clean up after their pet.
6.  All garbage and recycling must be taken with you, do no leave it on the property.
Length of Agreement / 7.  The terms of this permit shall begin on or about the 21st day of May (dependent upon weather/soil conditions) and shall end on or about the thirty first day of October of the year in which the permit is signed, upon which date, all produce, crops, and personal property belonging to the Occupant must be removed.
8.  After the thirty first day of October, any produce or equipment remaining on the plot shall be considered to be abandoned and will be disposed of at the discretion of the CDC and there shall be no liability on the CDC or the Community Resource Centre for such disposal.
Liability / 9.  The terms of this permit are specific to the garden plot assigned to the Occupant only. It does not extend to gardens maintained by others on site.
10.  Neither the CDC, 160 Roblin Rd. owner, the City of Belleville, St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Quinte Alliance Church or St. Thomas Anglican Church shall be held liable or responsible for the loss or damage to crops, equipment or other personal property of the Occupant or anyone permitted onto the site by the Occupant at any time.
