Faculty Grant Recommendation

The FGC is charged with reviewing and ranking various internal grant programs, including the Faculty Grant program. The Committee met on November 11th to evaluate 17 proposals. The evaluation criteria used were those listed in the Faculty Grant Program Guidelines (

After evaluation, the Committee voted to approve for funding all 17 proposals, which areidentified by rank below. It is important to note that the FGC makes recommendations to the Provost who will determine how many of the 17 ranked grants are able to be funded this year.

The total amount requested for the 17 proposals deemed fundable is $112,597.

Based on the information supplied by the applicants, the following have not received prior funding from the Faculty Grants program: Sandra Burr, Tara Foster, Austin Hummell, Yan Liu, Rebecca Mead, Bill Mihalopoulos, Erich N. Ottem, Peter J. Pless, Joel E. Thompson, and Bao Truong.
