______

Introduction

ORM, Sedgwick Claims Management Services, and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.work together to provide services and resources to support your operations. We will introduce personnel in attendance and the resources each provides to the State.

Workers Compensation

ORM will re-visit the transitional duty program and the post-accident drug testing programs and answer questions about agency implementation.

Reporting New Buildings to ORM & the State Land Office

To have buildings properly tracked and insured, the owner agency is responsible to provide documentation to both ORM and the State Land Office. We will discuss those reporting requirements in this session.

ADA Federal Statutes and Compliance

ADA violations are being litigated at a great cost to the State each year. Find out from an ADA expert the heart of the federal ADA statutes, requirements for compliance, and penalties for non-compliance findings.

Disaster Management International

What do you do when disaster strikes? An active shooter on campus, a bomb threat that becomes more than a threat, violence in the workplace that causes serious injury or death? ORM has purchased a new type of coverage for such events. A DMI representative, along with Arthur J. Gallagher, outlines the services and resources available to assist in a crisis event and to manage the aftermath.

The 2016 Floods and What You Need To Know About FEMA

The two flood disasters have affected many personally and professionally statewide. We will review the status of each event from an insurance claims perspective and the FEMA perspective, and how each agency can assist in the recovery process.

Statewide Claims Trend Analysis and Loss Control Solutions

We have identified the top accidents and injuries that occur statewide across all agencies. They account for many employees having to have medical treatment and being away from the job. Sedgwick will talk through each type of injury cause, how they impact your employees and your operations, and how they can be reduced. It’s all about keeping our employees safe!

Claims Litigation and the Agency’s Role

ORM, along with the Attorney General’s Office, defends state agencies against thousands of lawsuits each year, spending millions of dollars on defense costs and judgments. You as an agency have an important role to play in timely reporting and potentially reducing litigation costs. An attorney will discuss measures that ORM requests that you take to reduce the longevity of lawsuits andpromote favorable outcomes.

Higher Education: Cyber liability

This session is tailored to State universities, colleges, and technical colleges. An expert on cyber risk will discuss the exposure higher education facilities face, the insurance that is available to cover the risk, and the information needed by ORM to place this coverage for you.
