COMING INTO CLASS:
There will usually be a warm-up/bell work activity on the board. This assignment is
to be started as soon as you come in to the classroom.
WARM-UP/ BELLWORK:
You will be given a warm up sheet starting week 2. On this sheet, you will answer the warm up question every day. You will also reflection on your understanding of the learning goals. I will collect this every Friday.
PAPERS TO BE TURNED IN:
Every paper turned in needs to have your full name, date, & period on each page. If there is
more than one paper to be turned in, make sure these papers are stapled together. There is a bin near my desk along the wall with your period number on it. Put your assignments in this bin.
GOING TO THE BATHROOM DURING CLASS:
Only one person will be allowed to go to the bathroom at a time. You will need
to fill out the pass and take it with you. Try not to leave during
instruction time (ex: taking notes, giving procedures, going over answers).
GETTING OUT OF YOUR SEAT:
If the instructor is speaking, you do not get out of your seat for any reason.
If you are working on an assignment or exam you stay seated.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES:
There is a new electronic device policy. You can bring your electronic device for educational purposes. You may not bring or use headphones for music in my class. If you have headphones where I can see them, I will take them away. If you are on Facebook, YouTube, checking email, etc. your electronic device may be taken away.
WORKING IN THE LAB:
You will be assigned lab partners each time you do a lab activity. When in the lab you will stay at
your assigned lab station. You will only leave the lab station when the instructor has given you
permission to do so. You will take every precaution in the lab so as not to endanger you, your
teammates, or the lab equipment. Any horseplay will result in removal from the lab area.
DRINKING & EATING IN CLASS:
There will be NO drinking or eating during class with the exception of water
in a water bottle.
IF YOU ARE ABSENT:
On the first day back to class you will need to check with Mr. Kneeling to find out
what you missed. You will also be able to go to schoolwires to check what we did in class (this
can be done before you come back). You have as many days as you were absent to make up the
work unless otherwise requested. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!!!
TARDY:
If you come late to class you need to sign in
CLASS DISMISSAL:
The students will be in their seats prior to the bell. Students will not be dismissed until
everyone is sitting. The instructor will dismiss the class; not the bell.
