U.S. Figure Skating welcomes you to the 2012 ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships® in Colorado Springs, Colorado, February 7-12, 2012.

The venue for the Practices, Preliminary Rounds and Championships events is the Colorado Springs World Arena with additional Practice sessions taking place at World Arena Ice Hall, which is connected by an indoor walkway to the main Arena.

The following information has been provided to assist you in planning your trip to Colorado Springs and to apply for the media accreditation to cover the event. Every effort will be made to ensure members of the media have all the appropriate facilities necessary to work at the event.

The Press Center and tribune will be open and operational for the first practice session on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Please note the accreditation closing date is Friday, January 20, 2012.

I. Media Accreditation Information

Print and Internet media, non-rights holding radio and television can apply for accreditation directly with U.S. Figure Skating by completing the online application on the ISU website www.isu.org under «Media Accreditation». All applications will be acknowledged by U.S. Figure Skating. The total number of accredited Media will be subject to available space. We reserve the right to refuse accreditation should the number of applications exceed given space.

All media applications must be accompanied by a JEPG photograph and the application form must be printed, signed by the editor, stamped and confirmed by your organization and returned by email or fax to U.S. Figure Skating at the address below. Photographs should be identified as first initial last name_media outlet.jpg (e.g. rfelton_usfigureskating.jpg).

Without the editor’s signature and stamp from your organization, your application will not be considered complete.

All media applications must be received by Friday, January 20, 2012.

The accreditation will be granted to professional journalists and photographers only. Up to a total of two (2) journalists and two (2) photographers per publication are welcome to apply (only one (1) photographer can attend per session). Major wire services and newspapers who may submit a request for two (2) photographers (only one (1) photographer is allowed on the rink-side).

All internet and photographic media must sign the ISU Media Disclaimer Form and non-rights holding (Radio and TV) broadcast media must sign the ISU TV Disclaimer Form which is part of the media accreditation form or alternatively can be found on the ISU website under the media accreditation section.

Rights holding TV and Radio stations must apply for accreditation via the TV-Host Broadcaster. Please send your request to Rob Dustin at .

Accreditation Confirmation

U.S. Figure Skating will issue a Letter of Confirmation to all accredited members of the media. Please note that you will be asked to present a copy of this letter to have your credential issued at the venue.

III. TELECOMMUNICATIONS

The Press Center is located within the Colorado Springs World Arena and will be the working area for all accredited members of the media with access to various Championships related information. The Press Center will be available starting on Tuesday, February 7.

The Press Center will be equipped with wireless Internet service, available to all members of the media. The cost of Internet access for use throughout the Championships is to be determined. Payment will be accepted onsite.
