Description and Goals of the proposed Independent Study:
Participate on a student project at the Colorado Space Grant Consortium. Each project’s scientific and technical objectives and goals are different but all are space related. Your work and research will be focused on one of the project teams working to design, build, test or operate a spacecraft or space experiment. At times your work will be independent and at other times it will be team oriented.
Method of conducting and evaluating the Independent Study:
Please initial by each item after reading the attached COSGC Academic Policy, indicating that you understand what is expected of you.
Your final grade will be determined by the criteria listed below and as described in COSGC Academic Policy.

___ Perform tasks assigned by your team leader and COSGC Adviser
___ Complete at least the minimum required number of hours. Simply working the minimum hours does not result in an “A” for this grade criteria: Ugrad: 1 credit hour = 50 hours of work, 2 = 100, 3 = 150
Grad: 1 credit hour = 60 hours of work, 2 = 120, 3 = 180
