O.C.A. Annual Presentation Dinner 2017
The OCA Executive is pleased to confirm arrangements for the Annual Presentation Dinner to be held at The Kassam Conference Centre, Oxford on Friday 10th November 2017 - 6.45 for 7.15 pm. (To be seated by 7.30pm)
Those of you who attended last year will know that this is an extremely good central venue and we are making a few changes to the format to ensure that everything runs smoothly and be less rushed.
We would like as many clubs and members as possible to attend, and advise that the price this year will be £32.50 per person for a three-course sit-down meal (excluding drinks), which is very good value for such an occasion.
We are pleased that Jack Brooks has agreed to attend as our guest speaker and feel he will be an inspiration to us all, and many will have followed his career as he moved from local cricket to playing for England and currently Yorkshire. He will then go on to present the trophies to the winning teams, plus other individual trophies and awards. Please see the attached profile giving an insight into Jack’s career.
We are certain this is going to be a very exciting evening for us all, so please encourage your team members, wives, partners and umpires to attend this OCA event, and remember that this is for ALL clubs, not just the ones who have won trophies.
It is important that we know numbers as soon as possible, so it would be most helpful if the club contact can fill out the form attached to this letter and return with your cheque made payable to “Oxfordshire Cricket Association” to the General Secretary, no later than October 22nd 2017 and we do apologise for the rather short notice of the dinner this year, due to circumstances outside of our control.
