Coffs Harbour Showgirl Competition
The Showgirl movement is huge in NSW with thousands of young women entering annually. The show provides the opportunity for young women to become involved in their local communities as rural ambassadors. Showgirl is a fantastic way to expand career and personal ambitions.
You will be amazed at the personal and professional opportunities that the Showgirl competition can open up for you.
Locally you will assist with the Show,
The Showgirl winner will become an ambassador for the Show. The winner will then attend zone and state finals judging.

Showgirl
- between the ages of 18 and under 25 years, as at 1st May 2013.
- permanent residents of Australia, and must reside within Coffs Harbour & district.
- may go on to be the Land NSW Showgirl 2014 to be judged at the Royal Easter Show 2014.
- The Showgirl Competition is not a beauty contest, has no entrant’s fee, and does not require fundraising.
- build confidence, meet new people & have more involvement within the community.
- Judging will take place in May with the winners announced at the Coffs Harbour Show during the Grand Parade
Junior Showgirl
- not a beauty competition. Judged on presentation & personality
- open to girls aged between 10-17 years as at the 11 May, 2012.
- no entry fee & no money to be raised.
- All entrants in the competition will receive a free pass to the show.
- All entrants will participate in the Grand Parade.
- The winner will be sashed at the Show’s official opening.
All Showgirl entrants (Snr & Jnr) will have opportunities to help the committee during the Show this year and in future years, presenting ribbons & trophies, greeting guests, handing out information & more.
All entrants are to abide by the Show Girls Code of Conduct, as set by the Royal Agricultural Society and Agricultural Shows Council when acting as an ambassador for the RAS and ASC, or their local show society
Judging: Monday 12th May 2014
Girls need to be available on Wednesday 14th May from 5pm-7pm.
Also for Saturday and Sunday over Show days.
All entrants must return completed entry form and signed Indemnity
