Rationale for Correction:
The IHE profile involves importing objects from media and scanned from film or other hardcopy.
MPPS messages are sent to report on progress of the importation. New codes are needed to describe reasons why an importation might be discontinued.
To keep a trail of the equipment involved in modifying the data, the importing system is referenced in the instances as contributing equipment. New codes are needed for those purposes of reference.
Some sites will monitor and/or bill for importation activities. New codes are needed for use in the Billing Item Sequence of the Billing and Material Management Code Module.
