Note – Coaching Environment Course Applicants

Applicants for the “Coaching Children’s Cricket” and “Coaching Young People and Adults” courses must complete and submit a coach profile form to support their application. Wiltshire Cricket maintains the right to use the information stated on the application paperwork to shortlist and allocate candidates to the two courses.

Applicants applying to attend courses not relevant to their coaching profiles may have their application forms returned back to them with the option (if available) of attending the alternative coaching course.

All Coaching Environment course applicants must be current ECBCA members or must apply as part of the Coach Education application form.

As you can see these courses are very different to previous coach education programmes and therefore it might be that you need further information on the courses before deciding which to take. Additional information can be found on the Wiltshire Cricket and ECB websites

As these courses are all very new, we are looking to run only the following courses:

1 x Coaching Young People and Adults1 x Coaching Children’s Cricket

3 x Coach Support Worker1 x Umpire Level 1

1x Scorers Level 15 x First Aid Courses
NB –The new ECB Safeguarding course – Safeguarding Young Cricketers (SYC) – is a free on line course available for coaching staff only. As a result, Wiltshire Cricket is not planning to deliver any SportsCoachUK Safeguarding and Protecting Children courses at this time. As the SYC qualification is not applicable for Club Welfare Officers, we will be looking to run an SPC course around the same time as the annual CWO meeting/Safe Hands course.
