Meeting called to order by Ed Stuber - present – Ed Stuber-president, Jim Trainer –treasurer, Mary O’Reilly – past president. There was a mix up on the conference call in number sent out and Ed Hayes was unable to call in

Review last meeting minutes 01/28/13 – approved – action item – Gale to ask National to post

Scholarship Update – Mary - no update, no info has been received from Paul Tranchell. – action item –Mary to contact Paul for update

e-learning subscription update – Ed S. – Ed contacted National - they will provide us with the number of local members who took the test for the webinars – but not the total number of members who accessed the webinar archives. This will happen after Feb 28th – action item – Ed to contact National again

Schedule of events – Ed S. Calendar of events put out by Gale – activities are as follows

Jan, Feb - meetings held

March – joint meeting with AWMA – March 19th

April – EC meeting followed by Section Meeting with guest speaker from Chilworth – action item – Ed to set day for EC meeting and contact Chilworth to confirm date

May – ASSE ½ day seminar – April 31

June, July, Aug – no meetings

Sept – local rep - Dave has agreed to speak – no date set yet

Oct – Local section meeting – nothing planned yet

Nov – local section meeting – nothing planned yet

Dec – new offices and holiday party

Financial Report – Jim -

AIHA/AWMA Conference Report – Mary – Scheduled for March 19th, Holly and Paul are moderators

Old Business – All – none

New Buisness –

TACNY – after some discussion it was decided by the EC not to fund this event. Timing was bad – day before the AWMA conference. Holly to provide more info before next years event

New job posting – Mary was informed of new job - action item – Mary to send info to Ed and Gale and Gale to post – done

Review of action item from 01/28/13 meeting:

· Contact Paul Tranchell for scholarship update – not completed

· Send Jim info to pay Aaron Tripler - done

· Email Ed and Alan the guidelines for poster session for March AIHA/AWMA conference - done

· Respond to Gale’s email sent 01/29/13 to provide list of last year local only members that have not yet paid for 2013 - done

· Contact National AIHA to see get data on overall participation from CNY AIHA Members. Done – but needs to be followed up

· Contact Alan Hedge to speak – done – Alan is unavaliable

· Contact Dave, Local Rep., to speak – done – Dave will be our Sept speaker

· Contact Chilworth to speak – done but needs to be followed up – Chilworth will be our April speaker

Gale

· Send meeting minutes from 12/12/12 to AIHA to post on CNY AIHA web page - Done

· Create tentative calendar - Done

· Send membership ap via email to local members from 2012 that have not yet paid dues -Done

· Create flyer to email for LS meeting 02/25/13 - Done

EC meeting adjoured and local section meeting commenced

Minutes of Local section meeting

15 members were present for the local section meeting that took place after the EC meeting. Pizza, salad and drinks were available during the meeting.

Ed gave details of the EC meeting just completed and fielded questions and concerns.

Galson had its new ergonomic rental equipment on display and briefly went over the uses of the instruments.
