THE LORD’S SUPPER: As we anticipate celebrating the Lord’s Supper this morning we rejoice that God calls us to his table. If you are visiting with us and would like to join us in this celebration, please read the item entitled “Invitation to the Lord’s Supper.” If you can agree with the affirmations found there, please join us in this celebration.

ATTN ADULT CHOIR (High School Age & Above): Please meet with Sue Pastoor by the organ today immediately after the morning worship service to discuss the schedule for the upcoming holiday season.

Also, our first rehearsal will be next Sunday, November 14, at 4:45PM here at church.

ATTN YOUTH GROUP: We will meet this evening immediately after the evening worship service. Seth McKenzie will be leading our lesson. Come and bring a friend!

CADET PINEWOOD DERBY: The Cadets will have their annual Pinewood Derby this Wednesday, November 10. If you are up for the challenge and would like to be a part of this fun & exciting race, there is still time to join us by purchasing a car kit for $50. Proceeds from the derby help fund the Cadet program. Please see Chris Cooper if you have any questions or would like to purchase a car kit.

PINEWOOD DERBY & FUNDRAISING DINNER for GEMS & Cadets will be held this Wednesday, November 10, here at church. Dinner will begin at 6PM with the race immediately following. We need lots of help in providing soups, fruit platters, salads & desserts. We also need helpers to be in charge of beverages & coffee and to clean up after the dinner. REVELATION BIBLE STUDY is meeting on Wednesdays at 7:00PM at the home of Barbara McDermott. Our study commentary is the book, The Triumph of the Lamb by Dr. Dennis Johnson of Westminster Seminary. Wednesday’s study will be on Revelation chapters 4 & 5 (Caught Up to Heaven). Terry Wright leads this study.

THE MEN’S BIBLE STUDY will meet on Thursday morning from 6:15–7:30AM for prayer and study. We are now studying “Glory in Our Midst – Studies in the Visions of Zechariah” by Meredith Kline. This week we will continue in our study in the Structure of Zechariah found the Appendix of “Glory in Our Midst.”

THE MERIDIAN BIBLE STUDY will meet this Thursday, November 11, at 7:30PM, at the home of John & Judy Vander Woude. Our lesson will be #10 – 1st Corinthians 12, Body of Christ. All are welcome. Please contact Judy with questions.

SOUP & PIE SUPPER: The Kids Fellowship of the URC of Nampa is hosting their annual soup & pie supper fundraiser this Friday, November 12, from 5:00–7:30PM. Nampa URC is located at 55 So. Midland Blvd, in Nampa. All are welcome to come and enjoy homemade pie & soup!

FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON: Household #1 (Vander Stelt/Winter) and Household #2 (Cooper/Vander Schaaf) will have a fellowship luncheon next Sunday, November 14, immediately after Sunday School. Household #1 families please bring a salad, and Household #2 families please bring a dessert. Soup and bread will be provided. If you have questions, please speak to one of your Household leaders.

THE PILGRIM PEOPLE BIBLE STUDY: Our next meeting will be at the Boles’ home from 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday, November 17, to continue our discussion of church history.

BRIDAL SHOWER: All ladies are invited to a bridal shower in honor or Priscilla Van Hoogen. The shower will be held here at church on Thursday, November 18, at 7:00PM. If you would like to help with the shower, please speak to Tracy Vander Stelt.

SEES CANDIES are now on sale in the foyer. Please stop by the table and pick up an order form. Please leave your order along with your payment in the can provided on the table. All orders must be in by next Sunday, November 14, for your December 5 delivery. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the Youth Group mission trip to the Yakama Indian Reservation next summer. Thank you for supporting our Youth Group!

CHURCH LIBRARY: The CURC library is open every Sunday after the morning worship service. It is located in the back SS room hallway in Room #7. We have over 1500 items including books, magazines, cassette tapes, DVDs, and many books and videos for children. We are currently "missing" about 120 items. Can you help them return to the library?

THANKSGIVING OFFERING: We will again be using the pre-printed envelopes for our Thanksgiving offering. These envelopes list a variety of organizations, or you may designate another cause for your offering. The deacons will be handing out the envelopes on Sunday, November 21. Your family is invited to take an envelope and contribute toward whatever cause or causes you would like. If you need an envelope prior to November 21, please see one of the deacons.

LOVE INC NEEDS: Love INC needs more client intake volunteers, volunteers who love to visit, can provide transportation and pray with people, and volunteers for their gap ministries.
