Dear 2015 Seniors and Parents:
The graduation ceremony for the class of 2015 is rapidly approaching. I know that all of you are as anxious as I am for a glorious celebration. As you are aware, the ceremony will be held in the CCHS Gymnasium at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
The ceremony is a celebration for families and students. It will be a dignified event to remember for a lifetime. We have expectations for every member of the class that we know you will agree are appropriate. In preparing for this special event, we will be hosting a mandatory informational meeting for parents and seniors on Wednesday, March 18th, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. in the theater.
Our representative from Jostens, Mr. Todd Reed, will be available to discuss graduation etiquette. I will also be discussing graduation preparation and expected student behavior for the 2015 CCHS Graduation Ceremony.
Enclosed with this letter are the following:
*One–liner Senior information form. This information will be read as each graduate receives their diploma. Please bring to meeting on Wednesday, March 18th.
*Students are required to submit copies of their college acceptance letters and scholarships to the Counseling Office. During their exit interview, a student can indicate their final choice regarding their college selection. Scholarship information is reported to the District Office, Colorado Department of Education and is included in the graduation program. Please bring to meeting on Wednesday, March 18th.
*Senior Agreement. Must be signed by both parent and student. Due: Wednesday, March 18th.
Students will:
*Sign up for graduation walking partners.
*If you have not submitted baby pictures for the senior presentation at Senior Recognition Night (Wednesday, May 20th at 6:30pm). Please submit pictures by email to y Wednesday, March 18th.
Parents will:
*Receive information on what is expected of seniors.
*Receive information on “end of year” dates and deadlines.
Your attendance and participation is critical to the success of this year’s graduation. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, March 18th at 6:30 p.m. If you are unable to attend this meeting, you must contact Becca Warmack at 303-679-4600 to schedule an individual meeting.
