1. Two friends Rockey, son of a rich businessman and Sushil belongs to a average middle class family, are invited by their common friend Prince in his birthday party. Rockey insisted Sushil to come with him to an expensive Gift Shop to purchase a gift .

b) Write code for submit button to insert all the data given in textfields of above form into the Mysql table “TAX” .
c) Sushil hesitated but went with Rockey in an expensive Gift shop where no gift item is less than Rs.2000 . What do you think sushil should purchase a gift from this shop where he have to borrow money from Rockey and which will affect his family’s budget too.
2. Design a GUI application in java to accepts Date of Birth of a person & calculate and display his retirement date on dialoguebox . If he is more than 60 yrs then wish him for happy long life through dialogbox.
3. Write code to calculate speed of the driver and display messages accordingly.

a) Define a class Speed with following functions-
Input()- to read distance and time.

Output()- to display messages on basis of speed calculated as per mentioned in above table using Message Dialog Box.
b) Write a code for “calculate Speed” button to invoke the methods of class “Speed”
4. A networking company decided to computerize its employee salary . Develop an application to store employee's personal data which will be saved in the back end. The front end should accept Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Address, Gender,Basic Salary, Medical and Conveyance. Calculate gross and net salary.

Relational Database Management System

4. In a Database Institute there are two tables EMPLOYEE and SALGRADE as show below:
Write the commands in SQL queries for the following:
(i) To display the Name and Designation of those employees who have Date of joining
after the year 2006.
(ii) To display Sgrade and Total Salary from table SALGRADE where total Salary is
calculated as SALRAY + HRA
(iii) To display Name, Salary and HRA from both the tables EMPLOYEE and SALGRADE
for employees getting HRA more than 8000.
5. Raunak studies in Class XII. He is very helpful. During summer vacations, he helped his aunt's son in his studies. His aunt was very pleased with him and gave him a cheque of ` 2000.00. Raunak knows that after presentation of the cheque to the bank, his aunt's account will be reduced by ` 2000.00 and his account will be increased by ` 2000.00. Raunak walked up to the bank to present the cheque. While returning from bank, Raunak is apprehensive about one thing:
“What if power suddenly failed on the computer hosting the bank's database and my aunt's
account is reduced by Rs. 2000.00 but my account is not incremented with it?”
