Grading

·  Remedial assistance is provided for students during activity period. Students may seek help during that time or teachers may request students to attend.

·  Late work – Twenty percent will be deducted from late assignments resulting in a zero after five days.

·  Cheating/Plagiarism - Wendover teachers expect all students to practice academic honesty and ethical conduct. Cheating and plagiarism will not be tolerated. If you are caught, you will receive a zero and a night of detention. In addition, citizenship grades will be affected. The first offense will warrant a score of a three for citizenship. If the offense should occur a second time, a four will be given for citizenship.

·  Extra credit – No extra credit will be provided for students. Giving students extra credit does not measure the understanding of the concepts presented and skews the grading process.
