Speaker’s Corner Mr Baker will be at Speaker’s Corner this weekto tell us all about The Battle of Arnhem: Operation Market Garden. Market Garden was one of the boldest plans of World War Two. Thirty thousand British and American airborne troops were to be flown behind enemy lines to capture the eight bridges that spanned the network of canals and rivers on the Dutch/German border…. Hockey Club: Hockey kicks off again this week on Thursday from 3.40-4.40pm on the astro (weather dependent). Please make sure you are wearing the correct kit and enough layers to keep you warm. Thanks (SS)

S1-S3

The Moray College Taster Day for all S3 pupils will take place on Thursday 21st January. Pupils will register as normal Reg & period 1 before reporting to the canteen at 9:15 (period 1 teachers should accompany the class to the canteen and leave them there). Thereafter, pupils will be escorted to the College in groups and will be out of school for the remainder of the day. This is an important part of the curriculum for S3 and it will help inform course choices. (AW)

Holland:Can all pupils going on the Holland trip please attend a short meeting in G35 at 1:15pm on Tuesday 19th January. (NM)

S1/2 WDC Whales and Dolphin Elective If you completed the WDC elective last term and were part of Mrs Gordons S1 or Miss McQueen/Miss Heptonstall S2 class, please see Mrs Gordon to collect your certificate for completing this elective. (RG)
