SustainAbilities – recognising achievement against any of the four capitals:

  • Natural - ‘Green Award’
/ Best environmental initiative - implemented best practice, or innovative solution, or externally delivered project
  • Knowledge – (linked to Training Trust award)
/ Best training and development initiative or programme.
  • Social – Community Initiative Award
/ Best community engagement project or programme.
  • Financial – Commercial Award
/ Best commercial initiative – innovative cost saving initiatives, bid process, supplier arrangements, etc.

Individual Excellence:Values – recognising achievement against the four Company values:

Everyone has a voice / Recognising communications initiatives, including successful examples of: two way communications; diversity; communications with communities; working with disadvantaged groups, etc.
Do the Right Thing / Recognising taking personal initiative in difficult situations, acting with courage: safety, speaking up,’ Not Walking By’ etc.
Take Pride – going the extra
mile / Recognising going ‘above and beyond’ in the job, showing exceptional customer service, overcoming exceptional difficulties to deliver to promise, etc.
Bring Better to life – continuous
improvement initiatives / Recognising initiatives for business improvement – process, , streamlining, redesign, presentation, etc.

Ingenuity – recognising innovative developments and ideas:

  • Best ideas scheme
/ Rewarding truly innovative ideas and solutions, that are ‘out of the box’.
