1. RESOLUTION 2011/12-____. RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARTICIPATION BY ELECTED OFFICIALS IN THE ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND.
This item was tabled at the April 20, 2011 meeting.

2. RECEIVE AND PLACE ON FILE PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION 2011/12-____. RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CHANGE IN ZONING AND AMENDMENT TO THE DISTRICT ZONING MAP FROM “C-2” NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL TO “C-3” GENERAL COMMERCIAL AND ISSUANCE OF A “SPECIAL USE” PERMIT TO ALLOW OUTDOOR SALES AT PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 410 RICHARDS STREET-Denied.
Plan Commission recommended denial of an application for rezoning for the purpose of establishing a flea market at the Richards Street location.
3. ORDINANCE 2011/12-____.APPROVING THE REZONING AND AMENDING OF THE DISTRICT ZONING MAP FROM “C-2” NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL TO “C-3” GENERAL COMMERCIAL AND ISSUANCE OF A “SPECIAL USE” PERMIT TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR SALES AT PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 410 RICHARDS STREET, STREATOR, ILLINOIS

4. RESOLUTION 2011/12-____. AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF STREATOR, ILLINOIS AND THE LABORER’S INTERNATIONAL UNION, LOCAL 393 FOR THE PERIOD BEGINNING MAY 1, 2011 AND ENDING APRIL 30, 2014
The City and Laborer’s Local 393 representing clerical staff have reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year collective bargaining agreement. The resolution ratifies that agreement.
5. RESOLUTION 2011/12-____ AWARDING A CONTRACT TO D CONSTRUCTION INC., COAL CITY, ILLINOIS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE 2011 VERMILION RIVER EAST BANK FAILURE MITIGATION PROJECT
The resolution awards a contract for the stabilization and restoration of a portion of the Vermilion River east bank which has been subject to bank failure which has endangered several existing businesses and residences (Water St.).
6. RESOLUTION 2011/12-____. APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH DONALD PECK
The City and Mr. Peck have reached an agreement for an easement which will permit the installation of a water bib which will be used to provide water to maintain the new mini-park and the NW corner of Main and Monroe. The park is being developed pursuant to a memorandum of understanding between the City and the Streator Downtown Association of Businesses (SDAB).
AWARDING OF BIDS AND AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE
APPROVE THE FOLLOWING FINANCIAL REPORTS, AND OTHER ITEMS:
A The fund warrant totals are $1,670,280.32. A listing is on file in the City Clerk’s office.
B Payroll totals for the periods ending June 12, 2011 are $232,178.60, for the period ending June 26, 2011 are $183,293.62 and for the period ending July 10, 2011 are $189,890.04.
C Minutes of the regular meeting of June 15, 2011, minutes of the Special Meeting of July 12, 2011 and Committee of the Whole minutes of July 12, 2011.
D Financial reports for the month of May and June 2011.

MAYORAL APPOINTMENTS: Mayor Lansford will present the name of Jim Gohs for appointment to the Police Pension Board for a 2 year term and the name of Harry Godfrey for appointment to the Plan Commission for a 4 year term. Mr. Godfrey will be filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Don Schmitt.
