If mailing, please allow 5 days for payment to reach us by the due date. Bills must be at City Hall by the due date to prevent late charge from being added.

All bills must be paid by due date. All past due accounts will be assessed a late charge. Failure to receive bill does not entitle customer to ne amount. All unpaid bills are a LEIN on the property.

If your bill seems high, please check your system for leaks. A dripping faucet or other unsuspected leaks may be the cause

BURNING REGULATIONS

Burning barrels within the City of Sandusky are prohibited.

Contained bon-fires are permitted, but any complaint from a neighbor, the fire must be put out.

CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS

City Council meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month at 5:30p.m. at the City Council Chambers – 26 West Speaker Street.

YARD WASTE REMOVAL

Waste Management will collect yard waste on Tuesdays from April to November.

Sandusky DPW brush chipping is on the first Monday of each month. There is no cost for the first 15 minutes. For each minute after the first 15 minutes, there will be a cost of $1.00 per minute. Note: Chipping may take longer than one day to get through the whole town. If they have already been to your area, they will not come back around without charging the $1.00 per minute fee. ALL BRUSH MUST BE OUT BY MONDAY MORNING AT 7:00A.M.
